Transfers - RULES

You can transfer 1 player per calendar month between January and June (i.e maximum 6 transfers during the competition). If you do not use your transfer you will lose it for that month. Transfers cannot be carried over.

Transfers should only be made in the Fantasy Tennis – Player Transfer Thread. You should specify clearly what player you are “selling” and what player you are "buying" – i.e I am selling Mario Ancic and buying Guillermo Canas. You should ensure that you are within total budget at all times.

You cannot transfer players in the same weeks of different months (i.e you cannot make a transfer on the 31^st of January and on the 1^st of February). In this case you will have to wait until the week starting Monday 5^th of February to make the transfer.

Transfers take effect (and points start to be scored) the Monday following the transfer (i.e if you make a transfer anywhere between Monday and Sunday of Week 1 it will only come into effect on Monday of week 2). The only exceptions to this rule will be certain events in Asia and Australia will start on Sunday evenings. If a transfer is made before the event starts it will be valid for that event.

No transfers will be allowed to take effect during the 3 Grand Slams (Australian Open, French Open and Wimbeldon) that will take place during the competition. Any transfer made will come into effect the Monday following the Grand Slam.

In the unlikely event of an event carrying over into a second (or third week in the case of a Slam) competitors will not be allowed to make transfers of players still active in that event. In otherwords if due to bad weather Wimbeldon runs into a third week you cannot sell a player during week two to buy a player still active in week three. I will try to use common sense here .

Any points won by a player you have selected prior to transferring him will be included in your total.
