Re: ATP Masters, Monte Carlo 20/27.04.2008

hello guys

i am out of any money placing

federer vs nalbndian, all of a sudden, whole planet on bandy the fat boy!

well, i understand them, but to place money on him, no way, is not wise action, federer looks sick indeed, and i really mean it, but i am out of this clash

Djokovic vs Querrey NO BET

DO you remember mardy fish? everybody against him in all rounds, but the guy reached final

ferrer vs nadal away win

i will just watch the clash between fat bandy federer which starts in a while, without the preassure of betting

good luck

Re: ATP Masters, Monte Carlo 20/27.04.2008

An absurd game between the two Russians, after which I found myself in a pretty big loss, especially after the reckless serves bet. The result was Davydenko 1 ace - Andreev 0 aces

Hope it won't be taken as an aftereventing, but Federer's win (just accomplished) brought me to level terms
Just couldn't post here, as there was a guy trying to fix my computer at the office.

Nothing from me in what's left of tennis today, I just don't have the nerves, I should have a drink later

P.S. But fingers crossed strongly for Ferrer

Great game there between Ferrer and Nadal, some fantastic tennis by both of them. Not too fussed about my lay of Nadal 2-0 as I'd covered that when Ferrer was well ahead in the 2nd set, but annoyed about the >19.5 games bet. Ferrer blew 3 set points at 5-4 and 40-0, which would've brought the bet in, then blew 2 break points at 5-5 which would've guaranteed himself a tiebreak and brought the bet in, then blew a 40-15 on his own serve to take it to the tiebreak. Only needed him to win one of any of those 7 points and the bet was a winner, he lost them all and it's a loser

Indeed, unlucky there RC, I feel pretty unhappy of the way Ferrer gave up the 2nd set, but that's it.

Watching now Querrey making Djokovic sweat for his points.

Re: ATP Masters, Monte Carlo 20/27.04.2008

yes, i also watched the battle between ferrer nadal

tomorrow semis:

Nadal v Davydenko

guys sorry for my views, but i think this is gonna be a cruise in the mediterranean for Nadal ; easy 2-0 victory

Davydenko proved today against Andreev, that his is nothing more than a service defender of his own, like own goal, i mean he understands that he can not serve, so to avoid double faults, he serves like a mug, very weak serve indeed, and even this awfull player called andreev, could return him almost all

Nadal should break him very easily

Nadal 2-0 is banker in my eyes

the other one is no bet, federer exploded somehow today, and he is more than able to beat djokovic

no bet, since the serbian looks unbeaten though

good luck

Re: ATP Masters, Monte Carlo 20/27.04.2008

Quick bet here ahead of the final, which starts in about 10 minutes. Federer and Nadal have met 7 times on clay, and although Nadal leads 6-1, only one of them has come in straight sets. Nadal has looked impressive all week, Federer was poor at the start of the week but he's started to look pretty ominous in the last couple of rounds, seeing off Nalbandian in 3 sets and then leading Djokovic comfortably before he withdrew. I've got a sneaking feeling Federer might actually be able to win this, but I certainly think he can take a set, so I'll go with that safer option.

Lay Nadal 2-0 @ 2.32 to win 4pts

Re: ATP Masters, Monte Carlo 20/27.04.2008

i dont know why djoko retired yesterday: i was in a bar and watching lot of screens, soccer and tennis, my idea is that djoko was scared of the coming defeat, federer was a class above him, and i beleive djoko must eat too much bread in order to reach federer's level

anyway, today final, i agree with rcgiils

Federer looks ready to beat Nadal
nadal was below average yesterday against bad davydenko

Federer all the way for me, to win the final, match starts in half hour

Thought the same thing myself, Martens (about Djokovic's reasons for retiring, not about him needing to eat lots of bread ). He retires from games quite a lot, and quite often when he's getting beaten he'll start grimacing and stretching, as if to try to show he's not 100%. Seems the kind of player that's fine all the time he's winning, but if he loses, there always has to be some excuse, he doesn't seem to be able to accept that sometimes he's just been outplayed. All that of course is just my opinion, maybe I'm being harsh on him.

And you're right, the match starts at 3pm (CET), I was confused by Betfair, which has it down as starting at 2.30 (i.e. 10 minutes ago).
