Wimbledon Ladies Final/Mens doubles Final 02/02

Initial thoughts are Williams to win today. Her performances in her last 3 matches have been nothing short of the old Williams we all know from a few years back.

Davenport had been impressive aswell but struggled in her semi final against Mauresmo. Up until then her percent of first serves were above 75% and if she can keep this up in the final then she has every chance. Im going to leave this match though until in running where hopefully some sort of value can be found.

My pick for the doubles is Huss/Moodie. Have to continue supporting this pairing. I first seen them first in their 2nd game and they were very impressive. Ive since continued following them but only decided to get on them at 5s in the semi finals. They showed great fight to win the match after being 1-0 down.

The bookies seem to have overpriced them once again and they are at 3.9 on Betfair which is exceptionally good value.

Moodie/Huss aree currently up 2-0 and serving at 5-4 down in the third. Looking good. This team are going to be one to look out for in the future - they play off each other so well.

Well what can i say - what a match. The best one of the tournament i think. Had everything. Even though i had Williams to win i did feel sorry for Davenport. She got so close to winning it, then kept getting it grasped away.

Yeah i know - they have done me well in the latter stages.

For some bizarre reason, the morning of both the finals and the semi's they started off at evens, but then gradually went up and up. Even when they were 2-1 up in sets they were still 1/2.

Think i am going to retire from Tennis betting. Otherwise i will get too big for my boots and bet on the smaller tournaments and blow the lot!
