Correct score 0-0 at HT has fallen to 2.00 on Betfair - had fancied that bet but certainly not at that price.
Amazingly shitty price for a correct score, i even dreamt that scoreline last night but won't be touching it now.
i might go back to bed instead and try and rustle up a an extra time or penalty result.

Its going to be a tentative close game in which case the French could come unstuck, i hope they pick up the pace and give it a go otherwise we'll be in for a dire 90 mins.

GL to both sides and i'd give Italy the edge but it is a very close call.

Well I know what it normally means when someone claims to have inside knowledge .

I'm sure our members are sensible enough to come to their own conclusions on these things, but we prefer it if people don't go claiming things as "guaranteed", even if it is tongue in cheek (giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming that that's what the is for). We have plenty of people on here for whom English isn't their main language, and the tone of posts can sometimes elude them. Thanks.

Re: FRANCE v ITALY : THE FINAL - Sunday 9th

I'm only having one bet, over 1.5 goals at 2.02 on betfair. It seems a great price for a market which is normally around 1.4 - 1.5.
I don't think it will be too cagey as Italy for one will want to try and avoid penalties and Frances record in shoot outs is not too good either.

Re: FRANCE v ITALY : THE FINAL - Sunday 9th

I like the look of that bet, Colbro, am also on the over 1.5, along with Italy to win either half at 1.80 (Bet365). Can see Italy managing to win either half, it covers Italy to win outright (for which they'd obviously have to win at least one half, if not both), but also potentially covers score draws (a 1-1 with a goal in each half, for example), or even a 2-1 defeat if, say, France go 2-0 up at H-t before Italy hit back with a goal in the 2nd half. Plenty of options there, and as I fancy Italy to nick the game overall anyway, that'll do for me.

Re: FRANCE v ITALY : THE FINAL - Sunday 9th

Showing off, I know, but I am in the happy position of having backed Italy at 10/1 at the outset and now I've laid them to guarantee a profit.

So a rariety for me but I think I'll try a fun bet since their is no point in me backing the outcome

Both teams have strong defences but France have the more dodgy keeper.

The forwards on both sides are the weak link and you couldn't fancy any of them strongly to be First Goal Scorer.

So a midfielder and maybe a free kick could be the way to break the deadlock Pirlo is as good as most from a deadball situation.

FGS Pirlo £25 @ 14/1

Yeah I've gone for something similar for interest sake but I've been slightly more swashbuckling. Gone for over 2 goals at 2.73 with pinnacle - money back if it's 2 goals. And also backed no goalscorer at 6.00 with betfred as a stake saver just in case the game is a shut out. If one goes in I'm counting on more, just hopefully an early goal rather than a late one.
So we are wanting a game with three own goals for all winners
