sorry i havent read back on this thread but just for my own record im gonna take Germany to confound us all and for them to get to the final. They always raise their game and the home advantage may be bigger than i forst imagined. I aint looked but im looking at a famous european final in Germany v Holland or italy.

Aye im chancing the Argies based on absolutely nothing bar an irrational fancy. I do like the look of their team though. Ive gone for them and Brazil as when I did a simulation of how I thought everything will go (obviously random but we all do it) thats who the final was between.

Wasnt that psyched about either of their prices though which is why ive got free match bets at 2 bookies for them both so ive actually got odds of 16/1 on Argies and 11/2 on Brazil, worth looking into

As Crowie pointed out in the OUTRIGHTS thread, extrabet are paying out double if your first online bet is a winner, hence double the odds, I took Brazil there. I took advantage of bet365 for Argentina on a similar thing but youll know if you can get on that or not cos you would have had an e-mail.

The only big market move thus far has been Argentina coming in to 4/1. Everything else has stayed very samey, bar perhaps Brazil lengthening a tad (due to Argentina shortening) and France lengthening out a bit to 20/1. Im suprised Spain havent come in a bit more, theyre still around at 10/1.

Oh yeah and btw depsite 2 dogged performances Trinidad are still 2500/1 LUMP ON

Ooh Brazil have come out a bit more, them and Argentina pretty much joint faves now at 7/2 and 4/1 respectively. Iiiiiiiiiiiiiinteresting

Only 2 teams have stood out to date that being Argentina and Spain abeit Spain still having to play their 2nd match but they do have a strong squad and looked good in the first qualifier and should easily see off Tunisia.

I fancied Brazil from the off but they are starting to look past their best and age seems to be creeping in as is the case with France.

Germany being the home nation cannot be ruled out but on form it will take something special to see past Argentina allthough if the weather dips then it will bring a few European nations back into the equation.
