Bulgarian Super Cup 2007
Levski Sofia - Litex Lovech 1.55 3.60 6.50 odds from BET365 - offers various bets for that match.

Sorry for not opening a new thread, but for this single game only I think that is the right place.

Interesting game this should be. Played at the national stadium "Vasil Levski", 19:00 CET.

Levski missing their captain Borimirov, one of the most important players.

So, Levski's starting 11:
Petkov, Milanov, Benzukan, Tomashic, Wagner, Eromoigbe, Tasevski, Telkyiski, Yovov, Bardon, Domovchyiski
Two new faces in the squad - defender Benzukan from Morocco and Macedonian Tasevski - midfield.

Later I'll try to post more info about Litex's squad, some more things and some betting propositions for that game.

Re: A Weekend In Eastern Europe: 27/29th July

OK, couldn't find the starting 11 of Litex, but I can say they are missing two players, because of bookings from the previous season. Not crusial missings.

So, previous two supercup finals were played between Levski and CSKA and both were boring goalless draws - 0:0, decided by penalties (if regular time ends in a draw we go straight to penalty kicks). The weather in Bulgaria is quite hot, so I don't think the players will try thair best today. Anyway, both teams want to win this cup. They have big ambitions for the season, also. Litex already won a game for the UEFA cup in Malta vs Sliema - 3:0, so they are in the next round. Levski played good football in the friendly games and took some good wins.
I wouldn't dare to say what it would look like tonight. IMO fair odds should be something like 1.95 - 3.20 - 3.80. So the value is at the draw and away win. The previous season ended with two games between these two teams - the Cup final, which Levski won by 1:0 in extra time (Litex was the better team) and the last day if the league - Levski won 6:2 at home. Litex would like to get some revenge surely. I definitely wouldn't touch Levski at those odds ( by the way bet 365 already changed the odds to 1.66 - 3.50 - 5.25).

So, the tradition shows that game to go under. And most probably it will.
I think regular time will finish in a draw or win of Levski with one goal diference.
Levski always takes many corners, especially when playing in Sofia, so my first bet will be over 10 corners - 1.83 - this is the best bet for me
Another one - under 1.25 goals - 4.40
Draw in regular time - 3.50
Levski Sofia to win by 1 goal - 3.60
Draw at half-time - 2.25 - second best bet

Re: A Weekend In Eastern Europe: 27/29th July

Regular time - 1:1
I was wrong, there were two extra times and Levski won by 2:1 with goal in 109-th minute.

In regular time there were 9 corners and buggers took 10 at least during the extra time

Steaua Bucharest - Ceahlaul
Football - Romania Divizia A | 27.07.2007 - 19.30 CET
DANIEL

Today will start the first league in Romania and from this championship I can give you a lot of informations. It will be a very tight championship and the first round it's hard to predict. The games wich are easy have not good odds so I will start with what I think it will be a huge surprise.Steaua the most important team in Romania will play against Ceahlaul a team wich was relegated last year but they stay in the first league because one of the promoted team had no licence for the first league. So something like Belenenses(place 5-th last year in Portugal) and I think at the end they can manage the same result.Ceahlaul bought a lot of players after this so named relegation 12-15 maybe but very good and experienced, and more than half will play regulars so a complettly new team.Players like Shumacher,Vranikovici,Frunza(moldavian national player),Raducan,Oprea are very known in Romania and all of them are ofensive midlefield or atack players. They change also the trainer ,played good in the preparations and manage some very good results. So this is not Ceahlaul wich was relegated last year but a new team.
Steaua have a lot of problems in the last time.Becali the owner of club has allready started to fight with Hagi(the great ex-star)the couch from Steaua because the bad results from preparation(only 1 win with the poor Vilnius). They had transfered 5 players(two of them just today) in the last 3 days but I don't think they will be in the first eleven for tomorrow game.So what I am tryng to say is than Steaua it's not such a big favorite for this game and I can't miss an odd like this.I can't say for sure than Ceahlaul will win but they must have(in this condition off course) for a win odds between 3 and 5, no more.An important thing wich I don't mentioned is than the game will take place with "close doors"(that mean without spectators ) but I don't mentioned on purpose because, very strange, I think this will be an advantage for Steaua because the fans are in conflict with the club owner wich named them vagabonds. So I don't no if Ceahlaul will win but are good chances to do that and at this odd are a good bet.Steaua have a lot of problems ,not only those which I mentioned, but I can't describe all here.I am worry also about the next week Champions League game with Lubin but maybe until Wednesday the things will change a little.

2/10 on Ceahlaul at (14.00) with Unibet
6/10 on Ceahlaul Away +0.5 (4.45 )

BYSHOVETS: VICTORIES WILL COME

Lokomotiv manager Anatoly Byshovets is firmly convinced that the team have not lost anything yet.
Loko stuck in the middle of the table have made things still more complicated for themselves as they suffered two consecutive defeats from CSKA and Rubin.
However, the team manager Anatoly Byshovets is not inclined to give way to panic and thinks that CSKA and Rubin showed their best displays in clashes agaisnt Loko.
"CSKA were seeking to prove they were over the worst," said Byshovets to Sport Express.
"As for Rubin they were seeking to redeem themselves for the Intertoto Cup defeat from Rapid."
"Nothing is lost for us yet and I believe in my team."
"As for those who are constantly trying to unnerve us we are sure to disarm them with victories and they are sure to come."

SHISHKIN TO REPLACE JIRANEK IN VLADIVOSTOK

Spartak youngster Roman Shishkin is likely to replace injured Martin Jiranek on the right flank of defence.
Spartak defender had to miss Zenit clash through suspension but ahead of away match against Luch-Energiya he is likely to come out to the field instead Martin Jiranek who suffered an injury.
"We have to endure a long-distance trip to Vladivostok", said Shishkin to Sport Express.
"Luch-Energiya are a good team and they are very dangerous at home as many teams lose points there."
"Last year we were defeated in Vladivostok and after the match we were upset by the final outcome since we conceded the decisive goal several minutes before the final whistle."
"It was a great disappointment for us since this was the only match that we lost under the reigns of Vladimir Fedotov last year."
"That is why we are eager to revenge for that defeat now."
"Vladivostok team delivered frustrating defeats to Premier Liga favorites CSKA and Lokomotiv."
"I am not frightened by these results but we should take it to consideration."
"Pavlov is a wonderful specialist and he has a number of experienced players who perfectly know what to do on the field."
"Luch-Energiya are strong as a team and they are difficult to play against for any competitor."
"I had to miss Zenit clash but I came to Luzhniki to support me teammates."
"I was sure in Spartak triumph since the very first minutes since my partners were eager to win this match and their wish left no doubts in our success."
"Spartak controlled the game throughout the first half of the match but the opening minutes of the second one were not so productive for us."
"I regret that I didn’t take part in this clash since it was considered one of the best matches for Spartak during this campaign."
"Of course I would like to participate in this match however our victory is of greatest significance."

Tom' - Rostov
Before season I'd rated these teams as equal.
Rostov playing good but unlucky in last matches.
New coach in Rostov.
All in all 0.25 match for me.
My bet AW at 4.3 and higher
AH bet 2(+0.5) at 1.7 and higher
