Germany Regionalliga North Sat 28th July

Rot Weiss Erfurt - Rot Weiss Ahlen 1 @ 2.1 by Bet-at-Home

At last the German season is getting under way again. Erfurt have all men on board bar one, da Silva.
Ahlen start the season with quite a few problems, especially with injured players. Miletic, Kaminski, Thioune are out due to inury, Schaffrath is doubtful and Grosskreutz is suspended.

Re: Germany 27/29 July

it´s a special season in the regional liga in this season.

The first and the second climbe up but place 3 till 10 fight to stay in the new 3rd Bundesliga.Thatswhy all clubs raise their budget up to 25%.

Braunschweig with 6 millions is the Club with the most budget. If they´re badder than 10th .. they´re bankrupt!

Dresden with 5 millions and Magdeburg with 4 millions risk also much in this season!

Thanks so much @rene for opening up the german thread. I've been looking forward to the start of the league and it is now here. I have also learnt alot from the mistakes of last season. I will not go into this betting stuff at this moment so I want to wait and see how the games are going before I started betting. The reality matters most and not what the newspapers are saying.
WELCOME BUNDESLIGA!!!!!

2 draw last season (1-1,2-2) the odds are low on Erfurt (1.57@stanjames).
Erfurt at home on position 16 in the last season, Ahlen away on th 5th.
It´s the first round, I don´t touch it.. but GL Diomed

Re: Germany 27/29 July

Union Berlin - Dusseldorf
uh... that match looks important to me. Union with injury problems, Dusseldorf miss only one player.Dusseldorf sit in 10th position in the end of the last season, Union Berlin on the 12th.

H2H
1. FC Union Berlin - Fortuna Düsseldorf 1:0 (0:0)
Fortuna Düsseldorf - 1. FC Union Berlin 2:1 (1:0)
1. FC Union Berlin - Fortuna Düsseldorf 1:2 (1:0)
Fortuna Düsseldorf - 1. FC Union Berlin 2:0 (1:0)
Fortuna Düsseldorf - 1. FC Union Berlin 0:2 (0:0)
1. FC Union Berlin - Fortuna Düsseldorf 2:1 (0:1)

Dusseldorf lost tight 1-0 in Berlin last season but won at home 2-1. The meeting before they defeated Berlin at home (2005).

Berlin injurylist:Benyamina, Vuckovic, Ruprecht and Ruttke
banned:Streit (red card)

Dusseldorf injurylist: Pusic
banned: --

Odds: 2.50 - 3.20 - 2.50 @ stanjames
double chance: 1.44 for a X2

risk: Dusseldorf to win
'sure': Dusseldorf or X

Re: Germany 27/29 July

Cheers Rene,

I join you on Düsseldorf. Notice that union have problems, and expect from Düsseldorf to fight for promotion. It is still too early for big bets, but at this odds worth a try.

Also like braunschweig. Biggest club in this liga and I think that Emden lost some important players in transfer market.

Re: Germany 27/29 July

Bayern München II - SSV Reutlingen (+0.5) 2 @ 1.862 by pinnacle

Thomas Linke has returned to the Bayern amateurs from Salzburg and will strengthen their defence. But, it's up front where they have deficits at the moment. Nagorny has joined them, but won't be able to play today due to injury, so they'll have to improvise, due to Wagner and Celozzi helping out the 1st team.
Compared to the home side Reutlingen are of course a poor ( in terms of budget) team. SSV trainer has a full squad to choose from and have had good results in their preparation.

Any opinions on Schalke, must admit we nibbled on them early because of the ridiculous prices... looking forward to watching the match anyway with a bag of crisps and a glass of wine

Re: Germany 27/29 July

damn sexy diomed

Bayern miss their best player Ribery and the balls-catcher van Bommel is banned for the final (thanks to DFB). Schweinstiger isn´t fit and Santa Cruz is moving to the isle and Hitzfeld let him sitelined for 100% imo.

Bayern will have some personnel problems in the front. Podolski,Klose,Luca Toni injured,Santa Cruz away and the amateur Wagner played 80 Minutes in the half final. I can imagine that he´s powerless for the final cause it´s a 19 years old amateur not a professional with an age of 24 and the Bayern are in scheduling for the new season and the german Cup which starting next weekend.
I saw Schalke versus Nuremberg. Schalke wasn´t much better than Nuremberg but they have 3 or 4 good moments and make 4 goals. But the defense was bad and the midfield wasn´t dynamic.

I believe in an unexciting final in Leipzig tonight. Schalke with problems with their kind of play and bayern with personnel problems.

nobet for me

I fancy Schalke as well. Price is ridicolus. Bayern will be this year different class, but they didnt gelled yet and w/o Ribery they will have same problems as last year (lack of creativity). OK Ze Roberto is back ( I mentioned it already last year that was huge mistake from them to sell him).
Schalkes team play for few years now in same formation and know each other very well. I think that selling of Lincoln aint that bad, as their game depended on him too much. Great player on his day, but on bad day a hooror for the whole team.

4,50 on Schalke is "must have"
