Eircom League 10th-13th

Dundalk V Waterford(DNB) @6/4 Gonna go against my hometown this evening and back Waterford (DNB) @6/4. Dundalk are unbeaten this season but they've been playing pretty poorly of late and were very lucky to come away from Fingal last week with a draw.

They weren't much better against Wexford the previous week and they could be found out tonight against a strong Waterford team who are also unbeaten this season. Waterford have their star striker Vinny Sullivan and their captain John Hayes back this evening. Dundalk are missing John Flanagan who got injured against Fingal last weekened. I'm gonna chance the away team.

Verdict:
Waterford(DNB) @6/4

First look... home victory of Bohemians and Derry.. Gotta check the team new tomorrow morning...

Both pick seem pretty obvious and I expect Chief77 master to give me reason why not to take them. :-)

Re: Eircom League 10th-13th

have a few pennies on:

galway +0.5 @ 1.94
morale has picked up a bit since tony cousins got sacked, put in a decent performance vs drogheda and cannot expect them not to again against another big club, some outs for galway, most important probably being john russell in midfield but fingers crossed for o'flynn to return tonite.
cork on the other hand are not clicking...yet, everyone says they will give someone a battering soon and they probably will, but have to ride their inability to finish off chances at the moment against a side who will be in their faces.

St Pats -0.25 @ 1.82
had a poor game vs derry in setanta, McDonnell changed little after last weekends league defeat to Derry and got the same result in Setanta, but i'd expect a more penetrative display tonite vs a Harps side who haven't had a consistent bankline the last few weeks and striker problems going into this game.
have been trying to keep an eye on weather in Balleybofey all week, was pissing down start, and dry last few days which has persuaded me to take a little on St Pats.

weather and poor pitches have affected alot of the games this season start so stakes will stay lowish for time being, and truth be told, the + hcp's always look the more takeable.

That'll teach me for being a traitor to my home town. Shite game but Dundalk probably just about deserved the win.

Bohemians(-1) @6/4 V Bray: Bohs generally do well against Bray and their last 3 results against the seasiders have been 3-0 2-0 and 3-1 victories.

Glen Crowes goal against Rovers last week should give him the confidence to kickstart his seasson and he may well be among the goals tonight. Bray are finding it hard to score and have scored just once all season. I fancy Bohs to keep a clean sheet tonight @8/11

UCD V Drogheda @5/6: Nice price here for Drogheda. Ok they've started off fairly slowly in the league but they've had plenty of injury problems so far. Jason Gavin and Shane Barett will return tonight which will be a big boost for the Drogs. They won this fixture 1-0 last season and I expect a similar result this evening.

Monaghan V Wexford Youths @4/5: Monaghan have played Wexford 4 times winning 3 and drawing 1. They beat them 2-0 here last July and with the decent start they've made to thsi season you'd have to expect them to win again this evening. They've recorded decent home victories against Shels and Limerick. They lost to Athlone last week but they'll be expected to bounce back against a Wexford side who have lost 2/2 away games scoring just once.

Verdict:
Bohemians(-1) @6/4
Bohs to keep a clean sheet @8/11
Drogheda @5/6
Monaghan @4/5

Yep, both those look like home wins alright Scorpio. Derry have won this fixture 4-0 4-1 and 5-1 in recent seasons. Staying away myself though as its a derby game and I hate betting on derby games. Still though with the form Derry are in at the moment I wouldn't be surprised to see a clear win again tonight.
