Re: 5-7th July: Norway

Lillestrom 29.5 : Tom Nordlie has resigned as head coach of Lillestrom after a disappointing start to the season. Following their Norwegian cup triumph, Lillestrom were tipped to challenge for their first title in 19 years, but they earned just six points from eight matches this campaign. Frode Grodas and Erland Johnsen will take temporary charge until a new appointment has been made.

The way Lillestrom has been playing this is no suprise!!

Re: 5-7th July: Norway

Hello and welcome to the Daily Punt vman. Bah i had lillestrom for the league. Their now ex-manager was a bit of a figure in Norwegian football wasnt he? Im a bit wary of teams getting rid of their manager. Could we see Lillestrom getting a win just to annoy their ex manager?

Re: 5-7th July: Norway

Sure was, but thems the breaks i guess!!!!
With no head coach to show them the way and the way they've been playing this season so far, a bit unpredictable but would sure love to see them get back on track!!
Will see what i can source out B4 the game!

Re: 5-7th July: Norway

Here is some info:
Brann - Bodø/Glimt
Brann got only a draw against Ham Kam in last round, and have then played 3 games without a win. They havent showed much of the form from last season, and has 3-1-1 at home so far. They lost their last home game to Molde, were they had big problems with the pace to Molde attackers. Also Bodø has attackers with great pace and can make problems for Branns defenders here.
A.Karadas(D 10games 1goal) is back from suspension. C.Guntveit(D 7games), G.Einarsson(M 8games 1goal), E.Bakke(cap. M 10games) and K.Sigurdsson(D 9games 1goal) is doubtful.

Bodø has started this season very well and were in good form before the break. They had 4-1-0 before Viking become to strong in the last round and won 2-0. Bodø has got a little more problems on their travels the they have home on their artificial grass. So far they have 1-1-3 away and the win came against Strømsgodset. They havent scored in their last two away games. Can make problems for Brann with their great pace on the attackers.
E.Iversen(D) is injuryed. T.Martins(A 8games 4goals) is doubtful.

Over looks good.

Lillestrøm - Lyn
Some changes in Lillestrøm before the break but it dont seemed that it has helped them yet. They lost last game to Strømsgodset and continued their bad form. Lillestrøm has 2-3-1 at home and the only loss came to Vålerenga. They are unbeaten on their last 4 home games, but havent played to well in all of those games. Needs three point here and the pressure from the fans is hugh, to get a new win.
V.Riseth(D 11games 1goal) is suspended.

After beating Vålerenga in the derby game, Lyn took a strong and surprising win away against Molde. Continued their good form, by getting a one little lucky point against Viking in last round. Lyn are normally not very strong away but has 2-0-3 so far. Will get a hard game here, but with fast counter-attacks they could have a good chance on continuing their good form.
P.Obiefule(M 10games) is back from suspension. J.Tamadi(D) is injuryed.

Think Lillestrøm should win here.

Molde - Ham Kam
After the impressive win against Brann, Molde has disappointed a little. They lost home to Lyn, before they got a little lucky point against Aalesund. Didnt look much better in the cup game on wednesday, were they scored the winning goal 125 minutes played. Molde is still trying to take their first home win this season and they have 0-3-3 so far and only scored 3 goals at home.
M.Hoseth(M 10games 2goals) is back from injury.

Ham Kam has got a hard start on the season and is last at the moment. They took a important point against Brann last weekend, in a boring game. There werent many chances and draw was more then ok. Ham Kam hasnt done well on their travels and has only 0-1-5 so far. Poor defence and only two scored goal on those 6 games is not good enough if you want to stay in Tippeligaen. Many injury before the break for Ham Kam, but it looks a little better now.
S.Coorman(M) and T.Kristoffersen(M) is injuryed, so it looks better for Ham Kam now.

Molde should win, but i will stay away.

Tromsø - Strømsgodset
Tromsø became the first team to beat Stabæk this season. In a very good game, the won 4-2 and showed some good offencive play. So finally they managed to score some goals on their chances and if that continues they will be hard to beat. The results at home hasnt been to good and they have only 2-1-2 so far. The defence looks strong and they have conceded two goals on their 5 home games.
K.Huusko(A 3games), M.Knudsen(M 7games), J.Lindpere(M 9games), K.Borch(GK) and T.Hafstad(M) is injuryed. M.Koppinen(D 9games 1goal) and M.Knudsen(M 7games) is doubtful.

Strømsgodset made another good home game when they beat Lillestrøm last weekend, but they get more problems on their travels. Have played pretty good away, but are still waiting for their first away win. Strømsgodset has 0-3-2 on their travels and has scored only three goals. They have played some good games recently, and need to do the same here if they want to win.
D.Nielsen(A 10games 4goals) is back from suspension. A.Bergdølmo(D 5games) is doubtful.

HW for me.

Vålerenga - Stabæk
Vålerenga lost another away game to Fredrikstad last weekend and they are currently just number 10 on the table. Thats not to good and they need to start taking more points soon. Have done well at home with 2-2-1 so far, the only loss came to Molde. They won their last home game against Ham Kam and will be hoping to continued with another win here.
D.Fredheim Holm(A 9games 3goals), L.I.Strand(M 5games) and R.Johnsen(D 4games) is injuryed. D.Thomassen(D 9games) is suspended.

Stabæk got their first loss, when Tromsø was to strong last weekend and won 4-2. Seemed like they were missing Tchoyi(M 8games 1goal) and Annan(M 8games) on the midfield and they are still looking for some new players. They missed on a penalty against Tromsø, when the score was 1-1. If they had scored there, i doubt they would have lost. Stabæk has done well away and has 3-3-0 so far, and only conceded 1 goal in those games.
J.Tømmernes(A4games) is injuryed.

Stabæk should get points here.

Viking - Fredrikstad
Viking was one of the biggest disappointments in the part before the break and they started up wit one points against Lyn away. They had some good chances there to grab all points but missed on them all. P.Ijeh(A 7games) was finally back after injury and will be important for them in the rest of the season. Viking has 3-0-2 on home field and have played very unstable there so far. Some problems between coach Rosler and M.Ross(D 6games), where Ross had to change at half time in last game after being unhappy with something.
Fillo(M 10games 3goals) is back from suspension. J.Horn(D 5games) is injuryed.

Fredrikstad has started this season well and continued that play when they beat Vålerenga last weekend. Havent dont it too bad on their travels and they have 2-1-2 so far. They took a impressive away win against Tromsø just before the break and has showed some good football. They are only two points behind the leader Stabæk now and the confident is high in Fredrikstad at the moment. Fredrikstad is looking for a new goalkeeper, after Staw got injuryed.
Gashi(M 10games 3goals) and A.Barsom(M 9games 1goal) is back from suspension. L.Staw(GK 11games) is injuryed.

Fredrikstad can make a surprise here and take points.

My bets:
Brann - Bodø over2.75 @ 1.800 6units
Lillestrøm(-0.25AH) - Lyn @ 1.806 3units
Tromsø - Strømsgodset 1 @ 1.826 5units
Vålerenga - Stabæk(0AH) 2 @ 1.990 3units
Viking - Fredrikstad(+0.5) 2 @ 1.926 2units
