Re: Eastern European Football:
Forgot to add, that leader GKS Belchatow have to play without 3 first team players (Wrobel,Pompek,Ujka).
At Saturday Pogon Szczecin hosts LKS Lodz. It sad for the home team, that they have so crazy owner. Next season, and again and again the same play. The sick idea of importing container of Brasilians, and making from them the first league Polish team is still alive. The half of the team saw ou Tuesday their home stadium for the first time in live, five days from liga start. Talking about home advantage in the case of Pogon is really bad joke. Before the winter break the players lived in a camp, placed in small village near Lodz, about 500 kiloketers away from Szczecin. They travelled 500 km to play home game, isn’t it sick? The things are better now, they are living only 100 km away from Szczecin. All this fucking ideas made fans very angry. Till now they are conflicted with Pogon’s management, and don’t want to support the team. Two days before first match Pogon sold only abaut 1300 season tickets. Of course you can’t compare attendances in Poland and in Britain. Some years ago Pogon matches watched about 15 000 people, and it was for our conditions very good result.
For the game against LKS there are still some doubts about starting line-up. Some of new Brasilians don’t have a permission to play in Poland till now. Pogon dissapointed in pre-season, lost also two cup games (but not playing with optimal squad).
O.K., it’s time to write something positive about home team. 3 from 6 new Brasilians without permition can play at Saturday, including importand defender Diego, all needed documents from Brasil are already in Szczecin. Fans are going to make great support, as in the past, though bad atmosphere and all conflicts.
The visitors, newcomer LKS played in the first part of the season better as expected. The second period will be much harder for them. They lost two important midfield players, Niznik and Klus. They played really terrible in cup, with all respect but they pair of veterans Hajto and Klos lost their best form some years ago, the new players are nothing special.
I wanted to lay Pogon in first matches, this is completely new team, but I give them a chance on Saturday. LKS is much weaker, as before the break, today they had only 11 fit players, get maybe another 3 or 4 till the match, fans would be delighted with one point.
First round, so small stake, it’s risky one, but I try Pogon at 2.40 (1 pts).
Maybe Pogon's owner is not so crazy, as I think, and found the next Ronaldo in Brasil ?

Re: Eastern European Football:
I could be tempted to put some money on Pogon @ 2.4 too. Bosman wrote almost all about it, so here's my thoughts about Lks. I must admit that they get rid of almost all midifield and they are suffering. Altough, they was not that bad vs Legia and Belchatow until they've cnoceeded and totaly collapsed(they are counter attack team). So imo it will be all about first goal - who will score it will win the game (that's why i won't get involved in any level ball handicaps and stuff). That's the risk unfortunetly, with Pogon's defence being rather shaky one, but probably the odds wich is kinda high will make me give the chance to Bosman's team (even with 2 pts )
Also fancy Wisla Krakow, but yesterday ah was -0,5 @ ~1.9 in pinnacle , now it's -0,75 @ 1.84 so naah.

Re: Eastern European Football:
Hi Ori and Bosman,
Thanks for your useful previews.Based on your analysis I am interested in Korona-Arca game as a must HW.I am not very familiar with Polish Championship but according to the statistics Arca lost only one game and drew six so far away from home.Indeed they haven't payed away against top three teams but in fact they have conceded only 7 goals in their visits.Usually I bet heavily and odds such 1.20 or similar are good for me.Could you provide me with some more info about that game.Thanks.

Bezanija @ 1,10
Partizan @ 1,15
Belgrade OFK @ 1,30
and Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) @ 1.30 should all take three points from their matches.
Belgrade OFK, lost in last round at home, and it's really hard to believe that they are going to do the same thing again.
Anyway, it can be a tricky game...do not touch it untill Sunday and potential info.
Red Star must be a banker, since supporters and management are still in a state of shock after trashing by Partizan at Marakana,, 2-4.
Simply, fans would not let them loose another points...or everything is possible!
A must - AWAY win for @ 1.30.
Two other games-absolutely NO BET.

Re: Eastern European Football:
I also fancy Groclin, Bromsgrovegreen, will write more later.
Vmanohov, Korona is class better then Arka, besides Arka have huge squad problems, they are hidden by flu and have only 15 fit players.

Re: Eastern European Football:
@ Ori,
is there any decision from Polish FA, that this year there's no relegation from Poland First League, since three teams involved in some games fixing, Leczna, Arka and Zabrze, are already relegated?
If so, then 3/4 teams have nothing really to play for, except prestige?

.GIF) for Komp and adding the Macedonian league. The spring season is starting this weekend, but we will wait for some more before the first picks arrive, cause Pinnacle have yet to offer the odds.

Re: Eastern European Football:
UT Arad - FC Arges
As i said before, FC Arges is a good team and they will fight to avoid relegation with good chances. Solid midfield, with Tames, Dorinel Munteanu, Prepelita, Cruceru, interesting strikers (especially for counter-attack - Baltoi and even Tanasa) and safe defence. They played well against in-form Rapid in Romanian Cup and they can't be easily beaten. UTA, in the other hand, even if many will be surprised, is my "favourite" for relegation (from the teams above the line, because i think at least one team under the line will be able to avoid relegation). They may seem solid, but i think they will have serios problems in winning games, and that's the most important thing when it comes to relegation fight. Now, without Mara, it will be even more difficult for them than in the first part of the championship. I see a close game and the handicap offered is clearely valuable.
UT Arad - FC Arges (+0.5) 2 1.87@Bet365 5/10 (for those who haven't been limited yet ) or anything above 1.75 (you can get about 1.81 by taking the draw@3.25 at Paddy Power for 2.8 units and away win@4.1 at Centrebet for 2.2 units)

Re: Eastern European Football:
Poli Timisoara - Dinamo Bucuresti
Timisoara has just confirmed that they will send the reserve team against Dinamo, so without other comments:
Poli - Dinamo 2 2.11@10bet 10/10
There is no sure bet in football, but this is huge value. Dinamo had good chances of winning anyway. Anything above 1.50 could be taken.
You can also try Dinamo (-1.75) @5.60 at Bet365.

There's no decisions about those teams yet, and knowing polish fa, it will take more time (well, to be honest for me it's more likely to they'll make league bigger than relegate some teams, but they say they have prooves , so we'll see).
And as far as i know, it's about mostly Arka, Gornik Leczna and Zaglebie Lubin for their 2nd league games from the past. Didn't heard anything about Zabrze.
As for Groclin, i've wrote sometime ago that this is a team that i hate bettingwise, and i don't care about circumstances, i'll never bet on them as favourites. They are hugely fancied couse they've bought for a huge amount of money (as for this league) some macedonian young striker, and couse of Widzew lousy games before league in l. cup (but to be honest they was the only team that were against creating this cup... so i doubt they cared too much). Maybe they'll win, but it's no.1 team to not trust for me.

Filip Ivanovski signs for Groclin
The young Macedonian striker to continue his career in Poland
Filip Ivanovski, the best striker if the Macedonian U21 NT was transfered in the Polish club Groclin Dyskoblia.
Filip Ivanovski, a player to watch in the future
Born on 01/05/1985, Filip Ivanovski has already made a big mark in the Macedonian Football. In the season 2005/06 with the 20 goals scored he was second best striker in the Macedonian First League. He also helped his former club Makedonija GP to win the Macedonian Cup ending a 50-metre run through the FK Skendija defence with a late winning goal. This season Ivanovski scored 10 goals and was named as "Man of the match" on 5 in the 18 rounds played so far. In the past few seasons Filip Ivanovski is regular member and best striker in the Macedonian U21 NT and very soon it's expected to have his debut in the senior team. During the winter break many bigger teams from Greece and France showed interest for him but the Polish club Groclin Dyskoblia SSA was most determined and signed him this weekend.
