Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
First thoughts here, could be interested in Sevilla, Espanyol and Racing Santander, possibly a lay of Real Madrid too, in the Primera.
In the Segunda, at first glance the only ones that really stand out are possibly Real Madrid B and Murcia. The rest of the games either look too close to call or too low a price. Will have to have a look through the team news though, that could maybe throw up some more possibilities.
This weekend's suspensions:
Primera
Galletti At. Madrid
Luccin At. Madrid
Sergio Deportivo
Chica Espanyol
Jarque Espanyol
Belenguer Getafe
Descarga Levante
Cannavaro R. Madrid
Diarra R. Madrid
Guti R. Madrid
López Rekarte R. Sociedad
Fabiano Sevilla
Segunda
Coromina Alavés
Wellington Alavés
Cañas Albacete
Crusat Almería
Ayoze Ciudad Murcia
Iván Amaya Ciudad Murcia
Alfredo Elche
Marc Bernaus Elche
David García Las Palmas
Barroso Lorca
Capi Lorca
Antoñito Murcia
Ramón Murcia
Juanra Numancia
Nagore Numancia
Sunday Poli Ejido
Fran Ponferradina
Ayoze Tenerife
Marc Bertrán Tenerife

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Alaves' manager has resigned after not being allowed to take control of training sessions by the Chairman Dmitri Piterman. He was their 3rd manager of the season, and had already been sacked 10 days ago, just 2 hours before a game, before going and sitting on the bench for the game anyway and then being reinstated after the game.
Murcia with just one defeat in their last 12, which was away to Almeria, no shame in that, and with Alaves having off-field problems yet again, 3.0 with Sporting Odds looks a decent price on the visitors, so I'll have a little bit of that, 2pts for now, will decide whether to top up a little bit nearer the time.
Alaves v Murcia 3.0 2pts

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Knowing how much Igor loves Cadiz, he'll probably be pleased to read this news from Marca - Castellon are without 6 players through injury for tomorrow. Not all first-teamers, but reserve keeper Raul Jimenez (2 played), defenders Baigorri (17 played) and Casablanca (6 played), midfielders Txiki (6 played) and Moré (23 played) and striker Nakor (9 played) are all missing. Cadiz have to be considered for this one at around 2.50, they're the third best away side in the division (6-2-5), and are 4-2-1 for their last 7 aways. Just one defeat in their last 15, and that was 1-0 away to 2nd placed Murcia. They have lost twice to Castellon this season, though, at home in the league and away in the Cup.
Cadiz will be without Acuña (S, 2 starts plus 12 as sub), Paz (D, 14 played, 5 goals), Raúl López (D, 24 played, 1 goal), Abel Buades (M, 2 played, 1 goal), De Quintana (D, 21 played, 1 goal) and Lobos (M, 11 played, 5 goals). Some of those have been out for a while anyway, but Buades, Acuña and Raul Lopez were all involved last weekend.
Normally I'd be looking to back Cadiz here, but I think those players missing, in particular Paz, Lopez and De Quintana at the back, is enough to put me off.

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
You are right RC about Cadiz no bet this week,i was waiting for team news ,and after reading them Cadiz is going to have problems ,to many important players are out ,Cadiz best line -difence is going to have problems and on the other side this week price for them is shite
Alaves-Murcia ,this is going to be nasty game ,Alaves with all of that crap every week with Piterman it`s getting boring I’m not even reading that anymore
Murcia is playing great right now but this year I’m having big loses when I’m betting for or against Alaves, they are strange team ,what else could be expected if your boss is idiot like Piterman.
Murcia probable is going with old school recipe for this game= draw is enough for us when we are playing away and i could probable put little bet on draw and 1-1 cs
I realy fancy Albacete tomorrow I’m waiting for the team news and i could go with 4-5 pts,Teneriffe is playing very bad away winless 9 rounds (0-2-7) and they didn`t score in six of those games
H2H is impressive for Albacete
Home:5-1-0
Overall:6-4-2
Las Palmas-Malaga
What a game is going to be this one
Both team are shite ,both team have problems with scoring goals and when nobody is expecting to see goals,we are going to see at least four ,probable they are going to kill each other on the field, ,this is six pts game and everything could happen but i think points is going to stay in Las Palmas....

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Albacete-Tenerife
Albacete
*Injured:
Valbuena-goalkeaper-21 games, Santi-D-3 games and Parri-M-20 games-8 goals,
*Suspended:
Cañas-D-12 games
*Loss of anas will force Albacete manager to return to play with the system 4-2-3-1, in which David Bauzá will be the pair of Zahínos in the double pivot.
Tenerife
*Once again, the trainer of Tenerife, Juan Martinez Casuco, will have to play without pair of forwards Tomasz Frankowski-Raul Sanchez, both injured, reason why the offensive responsibility will fall to Angel.
Albacete: Sanzol; Diego Alegre, Noguerol, Cámara, Peña; Zahínos, David Bauzá; Ferrón, Juan Carlos, Barkero; y Calle.
Tenerife: Bernardo; Blanco, Manuel, Culebras, Clavero; Manolo Martínez; Iriome, Óscar Pérez, Juvenal, Luis Gil; y Ángel.
Parri is best scorer in Albacete also Valbuena is out so i`m going to leave this game.....

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Alaves-Murcia
Alaves
*Coromina and Wellington Paulista-suspended
*Stephane Porató, Pablo Casar, Arthuro and John Aloisi are back in the team and probale they going to start the game.
Murcia
*Three consecutive victories
*Ramon González and Antonio Ramiro “Antoñito-suspended
*Iván Alonso, probabl i sgoing to be in teh team although during the week he was having muscular problems.
Alavés: Porató; Gaspar Gálvez o Edu Alonso, Pablo Casar, José Manuel Mateo, Angel Sánchez; Astudillo, Mehdi Lacen; Quique De Lucas, Rubén Navarro, Toni Moral; y John Aloisi o Arthuro.
Real Murcia: Notario; Pignol, Ibán Cuadrado, Ochoa, Paco Peña; Bruno, Richi, Pedro León, Jofre; Abel Gómez e Iván Alonso.
This is going be nasty game and although Rc is right Murcia should take advantage of all of the shites hapening with Piterman ,Alaves at home is good team and i think this one is going to clasic game from Secunda low scoring draw.....
Draw@2.80...2 pts
CS ...1-1

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Stranger things have happened, Lilyhip, although I'd be very surprised to see Sociedad win that one. Good luck though, and welcome to TDP.
Just been looking at the Segunda B, think Ourense look a decent bet in Group 1 this afternoon to beat Fuenlabrada. Ourense are 8th, 7pts off the play-off places, while Fuenlabrada are 5th, 3pts off the play-offs. Ourense's home form though is excellent, in their last 10 homes they're 8-1-1, with the draw coming against the leaders Rayo Vallecano and the defeat against 4th placed Puertollano. Fuenlabrada's away form isn't too bad, 4-3-5, but the H2Hs are very much in favour of Ourense:
2005-06
| Jda. 3
| OURENSE | 3 - 0
| FUENLABRADA | 2004-05
| Jda. 8
| OURENSE | 1 - 0
| FUENLABRADA | 2000-01
| Jda. 25
| OURENSE | 5 - 1
| FUENLABRADA | 1999-00
| Jda. 11
| OURENSE | 2 - 0
| FUENLABRADA | 1995-96
| Jda. 1
| OURENSE | 1 - 0
| FUENLABRADA |
Have also been reading that until this week, Ourense's players hadn't been paid in around 3 months, but this week they were paid a large chunk of what they're owed. They've been getting results on the pitch, regardless of their off-field problems, so they were obviously pretty professional about it, but now they've been paid it will presumably lift a weight off their shoulders.
Have been looking for team news and have found absolutely nothing, so low stakes, but Sporting Odds' 2.2 (2.25 is available in a few places, although nowhere I have an account) looks a good price for an in-form home side.
Ourense v Fuenlabrada @ 2.2 2pts

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Sevilla @2,55 home to Barcelona tonight might be the game of the day. Barcelona have a very important game on tuesday against The Super Reds and they do not want to loose players prior to this game. Sevilla are one superb team at their best and can win this one.

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Barcelona squad:
Valdés, Jorquera, Puyol, Giuly, Xavi, Gio, Saviola, Zambrotta, Oleguer, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Messi, Gudhjohnsen, Márquez, Edmílson, Sylvinho, Ezquerro y Eto'o
No Deco, Thuram or Motta. Deco particularly interesting to me, I think Barca miss him when he's not playing.
Sevilla squad:
Palop, Cobeño, Daniel, Aitor Ocio, Escudé, Dragutinovic, David, Puerta, Poulsen, Martí, Renato, Jesús Navas, Alfaro, Adriano, Duda, Kanouté, Chevantón y Kerzhakov
No Navarro, Luis Fabiano, Hinkel or Maresco for Sevilla.

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Espanyol v Villarreal looks a bit of a lottery now. Espanyol without 4 players, including three defenders (Chica and Jarque who are regulars, and Velasco who's played 9 games), with midfielder Zabaleta (13 played) also missing.
Villarreal without Nihat, Pires and Gonzalo (long term), plus Senna, Tacchinardi, Peña and Jose Mari. Best to avoid this game, I think.
The press think Emerson is suffering from stage fright for Madrid. He was booed in the last home game he played, against Betis, and since then he apparently refused to come on as sub against Bayern, and has now been ruled out for tomorrow, apparently due to injury, but the press aren't convinced by that excuse. They're also without Cannavaro, Guti, Diarra, Cicinho and Raul, although Sergio Ramos, van Nistelrooy and Roberto Carlos are back. Marca thinks van Nistelrooy and Carlos will be saved for the Champions League game though.
Getafe will be without Alexis Ruano and David Belenguer in defence, which is a blow for them. Also unavailable up front are Del Moral, Paunovic and Verpakovskis. Am still tempted by a lay of Madrid in this one, but will leave a decision until tomorrow.

Re: Spanish football 3-4 March
Was considering Ciudad de Murcia in the Segunda, but they've got a few important players out. Elche without a few players too mind you.
Like the look of the overs in Numancia v Vecindario. Vecindarioo missing a few players, in particular up front, including their top scorer Xisco. However, from memory I think last time they were missing important players up front (14th January) they went and gave Murcia a real scare before going down 4-3 in the end, and that was with a team including no player who'd scored more than one goal all season. Numancia will see this as a chance to boost their goal difference (only +5 at the moment, which doesn't compare well to the teams they're chasing), while Vecindario are at the stage now where draws are no good to them, they really have to go for wins, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a few goals.
Also fancy Real Madrid B's chances at Gijon. It's a clash between two very erratic sides, and as such I think the value is with the away side. Gijon are also the 2nd worst home side in the division, 5-1-6. Madrid B have their usual squad available, with only Sergio Diaz unavailable due to injury, plus Torres will as usual it seems be with the Real Madrid 1st team. Sporting considering a few changes as they have 5 first-teamers just one booking away from suspension, so may consider resting some of them.
Numancia v Vecindario over 2.5 goals @ 2.42 (minus commission) 3pts
Sporting Gijon v Real Madrid B @ 4.6 (minus commission) 2pts
Also taken Sevilla.
Sevilla v Barcelona @ 2.74 (minus commission) 3pts
