Re: Denmark 28/29th May

Hmm, can't say that I have to many fancies in this round at present. Well, I have my eye out for a number of teams, but many look to close to call and will probably only be interesting if some favourable teamnews appear.

I think my main bet could be FCM (1X) at home to FCK. They are a strong and solid outfit that of homeside and the motivation couldn't be much higher. They did not look very good vs. OB, (lost 3-1), but I think they can turn it on again at home like they did against Brøndby a week ago (won 3-1).

FCK, is also a good and solid outfit (It hardly needs saying, does it !?), but the fact is that they have been in a downtrend lately (last 4 SAS-liga games) and eventhough they have just won the Royal League trophy on thurday night, I don't think it will be a major boost or anything because a) the play was not great (Hans Backe their coach stated after the final that he was pleased with the title but not happy with the play) and b) they are dissapointed that their chances of taking the championship title is as good as gone, allthough their aim is now to secure 2nd place and a place in the uefa cup. They will also miss a couple of influential players for this tie, in brazilian attacker Alvaro Santos and midfielder Hjalte Nørgaard both out suspended. FCK have got the widest squad in Denmark though so the emphasiz on the missing players should not be TOO high afterall, they do have some good replacements..

Brøndby could be another option aswell maybe (0) is the way to go or cover with the CS 1-1, as I belive 4 times in recent past that has been the outcome in Aalborg between the to. AaB has a thin squad. The strongest possible is named for this big clash but they still have doubts over 2 central defenders, only 1 of them will start the game though, but they can't afford too many abcences in a game against the league leaders IMO, then Brøndby should be strong enough to punish them. Brøndby can field their strongest lineup here and that should mean they can avoid defeat at least, unless AaB put up a really strong performance like the 1 in 1st half against Viborg (leading 4-0 at HT, 5-3 FT), then they have a chance to take all points....

2 lays futher are on my mind, in AGF and "my team" Silkeborg, but I will wait and see if they can be valuable to us later, so all from me now. Bring your comments of any kind and we will see come Saturday/Sunday if anything is begging to be backed.

Re: Denmark 28/29th May

still one or 2 probs with the server hosting Silky J but i promise we'll have it sorted asap and within the next week. All i ask is if you can bear with us and maybe try to take a copy of your post before hitting reply ( Right click then SELECT ALL and then COPY) Least that way it will still be on your clipboard ready to paste if TDP fails to accept it.
Sorry Silky and great stuff on the Danish football this week. I cant see many folks talking about it on the net if at all so it looks a tight week.

This thread is the only info in English on the games Silky so it could be a chance for you to shine

cheers mate and i'll have a wee look myself in a bit.

Nice previews Jedd

Not sure about your problem with 'instant finder', is it a page on this website or does it take you to another website?

Re: Denmark 28/29th May

Aalborg vs Brondby (28th May)

There’s four games left in Denmark and Brondby need only two wins to guarantee them the Championship they last won in 2002. The last two years have seen them pipped by second placed FC Copenhagen who now lie 7 points of the pace. After recent blips Brondy’s 5-0 demolition of Copenhagen has probably sealed the Championship for them. This should be a tough game with Aalborg still in the hunt for the second place and a UEFA place. Brondy have the meanest defence in the division with only 19 conceded and 16 clean sheets from 29 games. Aalborg have been similarly frugal at home with 12 conceded in 15 games. This should hopefully be a tight affair with a draw probably enough for Brondby given that this is probably their toughest game left. They have cut lose recently with some high scoreing games but 8 of the 14 away have still gone under. The reverse fixture was a 1-1 draw. 7 of the last 19 (League and Cup) have ended in stalemate which also shows how tight this fixture is traditionally. Two even sides with mean defences to me looks good for a low score bet.

Given that Brondby have only lost two of the last 19 a lay of Aalborg might be worthwhile for the more adventurous. You’ll probably get 3 or 3.05 taken.

For me low goals is the bet here at 2.1.

Aalborg vs Brondby less than 2.5 Goals @ 2.1 (Betfair) – 2.5 Units

Current Scandanavian Bets +3.99 Units

Re: Denmark 28/29th May

Well, 2 games and 2 fancies on my part in the lowerleagues:

Aarhus Fremad @1.6 to beat Holstebro has to be the choice here considering the form of the 2 and the words coming from the coach of Holstebros mouth. Important players will miss out today because of injury ans suspension and because they will take no chance with players being doubts. In this case, allthough awayside has improved and are not bad side, I take the homeside to prevail. 1 players is out and 1 is a doubt for them...

Second up is HIK - Horsens 1.80: I will go for the awayside as they are strongestand have everything to play for here, what is not the case for homeside. It's a somewhat risky bet as the draw definetly lies outhere so the 10/10 pick here is the X2, IMO, but I will chance the awaywin I think. If Dalum can come here and win then so can Horsens. Teamnews also favour the awayside, with only 1 players abcent, whereas homeside will do without a hole 5 players (some have been out a for a while though).

Re: Denmark 28/29th May

Under 3.5 in the HIK - Horsens game @1.55, Unibet is worth taking ,IMO. Most games with these 2 teams go under and I would fully expect there to be no more than 3 goals, infact I think it is very likely that there will be less than that. Low price admitted, but it still holds value IMO, with these 2 teams on the pitch...
