Re: Ireland 26-28 April

Far from Irish expert but Dundalk @ 1.55 Expekt looks like izzi winner imo! Dundalk curent leader and probably biggest candidate for promotion has 4 points adv over Cobh, so for sure they want to increase it! They are 5-2-0 till now and they allready faced four promotion contenders - Athlone, Cobh, Kilkenny, Limerick , winning 3 and only drew vs Cobh!
On other hand, Wexford, for newcomer, had some decent performance till now but for sure they are mediocre side in Div 1.

Pitty no team news reagrding this match still

Re: Ireland 26-28 April

Wexford Youths will be without the injured Stuart Lawlor. Midfielder Marty Kelly and goalkeeper Jason Russell are also doubtful.
Midfielder Keith Dunne remains an injury doubt for Dundalk.

I agree with voja75 and probably another clean-sheet for hosts.

Wexford fans are not so optimistic...

Quote:
This is gonna be a toughie! Dundalk's record of 5 wins from 7 is very impressive, they have a really strong squad, they'll obviously be a lot more used to the artificial surface than us...

would not hold out for much here,a point would be terrific, but just cant see it happening.

Tough away game and Dundalk are in great form. I'll be hoping and praying for a draw.

Re: Ireland 26-28 April

Dundalk V Wexford Youths HT-FT@6/5: For all on the straight Dundalk win I'd say its as close to a banker as you can get. Dundalk return home after a number of horrible away games on horrible pitches. At home Dundalk have played 3 times this season and scored an impressive 9 goals. Oriel Park has the only plastic pitch in the league and it compliments Dundalks passing game well.

Cobh were the only team to hold Dundalk scoreless in a game Dundalk really should have won. Despite Wexford Youths shock win last week against Finn Harps they are not in the same class as Cobh and I quite fancy Dundalk to score a few tonight. Keith Dunne is available for selection which means Dundalk are at full strength

Verdict:
Dundalk @4/9--Confidence 10/10
Dundalk HT-FT @6/5--Confidence 7/10

Its tempting alright as I really think Dundalk could win by 3 or 4 tonight. The only worry is the 2-0 scoreline but all in all I'd play the overs if pushed. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Decent start for Dundalk. Hughes just hit the post. Hopefully a goal is forthcoming.

Re: Ireland 26-28 April

0-0 at Half Time I'm afraid. Dundalk hit a post and had 2 shots cleared off the line. Looks good for all the outright backers but its game over for the HT-FT i'm afraid.

Good lad igor, both your bets came up. 4-0 to Dundalk in the end. Sorry for all who followed my Half Time Full Time.
