Are there some games missing there? That's only 8 games, should be more than that shouldn't there? Or are we at the dodgy draws stage of the season where the bookies get nervous? Odds from Bet365 anyway, and if any missing games appear, feel free to add them up

Odds for Parma-Reggina dropped fast, and some bookies even removed the game Last night there were still some bookies offering about 1.7, but the odds are going down...

Re: Italian football 7-10 April

What about Cagliari-Palermo on sunday.

strong at home, needs the points and guests who probably have half an eye on their next match and possibly even resting some players?

Does anyone have any feelings about it?

Re: Italian football 7-10 April

Messina - Treviso should be at each Sunday's combo.
Treviso is already relegated, nothing to fight for.
The hosts are desparately seeking points to stay in Serie A.In next three rounds they're visiting Chievo and Reggina, and Welcomes MIlan.
Crucially match for Messina, because three points from Treviso is probably much more than what they can get from the three next games.

Parma-Reggina draw

If Snai offers @ 1,50 for draw - usually that's it.
Remember last couple of years...Italians likes those underpriced draws and respect it as well. The freshest similar case happened in the last round, again Reggina involved, 1-1 vs Siena, price for draw was about @ 1,50!
Parma is playing vs. Samp in the next round /A/ then welcomes Siena /draw again?/ and visiting Cagliari.
Reggina hosts Ascoli /draw again? / visiting Inter in Milan and welcomes Messina.
Not too tough schedule for both, and great chances for calculattion which'll keep them in Serie A.

Cagliari-Palermo
I'll go for HW here.
Points sre much more important for the hosts, Palermo is looking forward for Italian Cup second leg match vs. Roma.
Roma is fighting for CL, and as all Italian top clubs, don't care too much for Cup, so Palermo have a great chance to go through.
Maybe it's wise to wait for the final result of tonight's game Livorno-Udinese, but I still think, whatever happened there - Cagliari still needs a victory.

Re: Italian football 7-10 April

Roma Vs Lecce
Lecce have an away record that reads 2-1-13. The three times they have got something away have been against all bottom half sides. Sure, the odds are extremely skinny on a Roma win but I'm hoping it's one of those 'free money' opportunities. I'll be snooping about to see if I can get close to 1.40 on Roma here but I'll take as low as 1.33 with a fairly hefty wager.

Selection - Roma - 3 points.

Re: Italian football 7-10 April

Cheers ODM.

Just been speaking to my dad who follows Italian football pretty closely and he's put me off a bit. Lecce beat Milan and Sienna in their last two games and he says they are picking up whilst Roma are struggling to find their feet since losing to Middlesboro. I'll still back this but at reduced stakes.

Re: Italian football 7-10 April

Did you watch the Juve v Arsenal match midweek sponger? I was suprised at how bad Juve were and they really seemed to have problems creating real goal scoring opportunities.

The exit from the champions league has prompted the Turin club to ban the players speaking to the press. No doubt the fans will be demanding a convincing performance tonight to erase the memories of Wednesday night.

The best price for a Juve win is hovering around the 1.82 mark on the exchanges. To be honest I don't think there's much value in that considering the circumstances. It really does depend on how the players respond to the criticism that has been levelled at them.

I might be tempted with the under 2.5 goals as I reckon both teams will be tired but I'm still mulling over this one.

Re: Italian football 7-10 April

Thanks daikoku

I only got to see highlights of the game, but yeah, they looked like a shell of the team that got off to such a great start. Even in their last couple of league games they haven't looked great. I was just reading about the media thing on ESPN. Usually, good teams bounce back under these circumstances. The question is, will they?

I'm still undecided
