This is the current table. Top two will directly promote to Super League. Teams will finish between 3rd and 6th position will have a chance to reach playoff stages and one more team will promote after this.
League leaders Bursaspor will almost guarantee to promote if they win this encounter. But after some good results, players relaxed and Bursaspor was not like as I used to see at last two matches. I watched Bursaspor's last two matches live, one from TV and one from stadium. Two of them are very slow games with both teams struggling to create real scoring opportunities. But it is not fair to expect much from it because quality of football is always below the standards in 2nd division.
Bursaspor have two important features. They are not showing a great, impressive football but as a well - organized and disciplined team it is hard to score against their solid defence. And the second is of course supporters. Bursaspor have a great fan support at home matches and ambiance is always embarrassing for visitors. There will be no Altay fan tonight due to security reasons but pressure on Altay team will be hot again. Because two teams lived some problems at past also at reverse fixture it was the same even presidents and board members argued.
At the other side, Altay had many problems with coaches this season despite they have always been in promotion race. 3 coaches resigned or sacked from the start of the season. Now Umit Birol, who is a assistant coach before, is the 4th coach of the season and this will be his third match. Ismail Kartal had been criticised due to bad performance, now the display is not so different but Altay won 2 on the trot under new coach.
I expect a closed match again tonight. Because Bursaspor coach Rasit Cetiner never loves to take risks. They want to win but a draw won't be a big disappointment. Altay wants to win too of course but their first aim will be draw because Altay have an easier fixture than Antalya and Sakarya at last 5 week, so a draw is enough to make them happy. And it will be tough for them to play infront of 20.000 hot supporters.
My first bet will be "under" for this match. Also I fancy Bursaspor to win. But draw is possible too.
