Diyarbakirspor - Galatasaray

Diyarbakirspor are my biggest relegation candidate as I wrote last week. And I had expected a loss at last week's match against V.Manisaspor. But strange things happened, that nobody had info about it. Home side coach Ersun Yanal surprisingly didn't take 6 regular and important players to the match squad. His team showed a very lacklustre display and lost 3-0 to Diyarbakirspor. But this week situation is different. Galatasaray is in a title challenge and in a good form. Also there are some good news. New board made a payment around 3.000.000 USD to players who couldn't be able to get their salaries for months.

Also I want to say something about venue. This match's venue has been rescheduled due to home team's suspension and now will be played at Izmir Ataturk Stadium. This is the second biggest stadium of Turkey with 70.000 seats and it is expected at least 50.000 Galatasaray fans will be there. Galatasaray's own ground Ali Samiyen has a 23.000 capacity, so they will be boosted with double support.

If Galatarasay scores an eaerly goal, it will be a very comfortable win. My bet is Galatasaray (-1) @ 2.10 (interwetten) with high stakes.

Re: Turkish football 7-9 April

Besiktas - Malatyaspor

Malatyaspor was a solid defensive team but had struggled at attacking while Ziya Dogan was in charge. After Umit Kayihan’s arrival they tried to play offensive but couldn’t be able to succeed it due to lack of decent finishing. After a win at his debut, Umit Kayihan saw 3 losses on the trot which decreased their hopes. This is the last chance for bottom side Malatyaspor to survive while other opponents are playing easier home matches. They will have nothing to lose so I expect an attacking football. But there is a big blow for Malatyaspor. After goalkeeper Fevzi’s injury now second goalkeeper Bora is injured too. Third goalkeeper unexperienced Taylan will be at the pitch against Besiktas.

Besiktas got two straight wins in a week which has brought them belief and confidence. They almost guaranteed to qualify to their biggest aim cup final and climbed to 3rd place at league after long weeks. But it is hard to say something about their performances. Sometimes it is different like black and white. Last Gaziantepspor encounter is a good sample. Besiktas played an impressive second half while they showed a woeful performance at first half.

I think the best bet is “over” for this match under these conditions.

Average odds are 8.50 for an away win, betandwin offers 9.50. Imo, it is worth to back a team which is desperately in need of a win with little stakes.

over 2.5 goals @ 1.75 (stake 7/10)
Malatyaspor to win @ 9.50 (stake 2/10)

I agree with farnerud about Malatyaspor. In addition Besiktas guaranteed to go to UEFA cup next year, so "Malatyaspor to win" can be tried with small stakes.

Re: Turkish football 7-9 April

Kayserispor is the surprise package of this season and they must win this match to keep hopes for UEFA cup spot. But Kayserispor is in a downtrend, couldn't be able to score any goal at last 4 matches. It is interesting because Kayserispor's biggest feature were scoring power with league's top scoring striker Gokhan and 3 attacking midfielders.

Ankaragucu is a mediocre team for me but got some surprise results and showed better performance than expected against Galatasaray and Besiktas. And an interesting note : Ankaragucu's coach Hikmet Karaman was at Kayserispor last season.

Biggest blow for Ankaraugucu is the suspension of two defenders. Central defender and team captain Hakan Kutlu and right back Niyazi won't play. Striker Rodic is the only player in Kayserispor's injury list. I think he's not a big absent and could'nt give his best as Gokhan's partner.

Under normal conditions Kayserispor are far better team, and playing very well at home. But it is better to wait Besiktas's match result tonight. If Besiktas wins the gap will be 4 points and Kayserispor will be in %100 must win position.

Btw, I think Kayserispor will win and my stake is 7/10 for home win

Great call on the overs there and you were very very unlucky on the 9.50 shot

Hope you managed to lay that off as a 90th minute winner is a harsh way to lose such a big shot bet.

Re: Turkish football 7-9 April

Rizespor - V.Manisaspor

I fancy Rizespor to win but covering with draw will be safer. Rizespor have one of the best midfields in Turkish league but their problem is at scoring. Rizespor will have more chances against Manisaspor's poor defence. It is hard for me to bet against Manisaspor which is playing a risky football but Rizespor is playing good when motivated. Influential midfielder Selcuk is injured and right winger Gurol is suspended for away side. Goalkeeper Bulent, Zelenka and Johana recovered from injuries. Arda and Meduna are back after suspension. Home side have no important absentes.

Re: Turkish football 7-9 April

2nd division matches

Gaziantep B.B. - Mardinspor

Two equal teams but home side needs 3 points to relax while Mardinspor have no target. Mardinspor were without a coach for two weeks after Ahmet Akcan resigned, club has been appointed Recep Bayik as new coach (former assistan coach of Diyarbakirspor) before midweek's Kocaelispor match. But according to match reports, this didn't make a positive affect and Mardinspor showed an lacklustre performance. It is not easy for players to concentrate when the club becomes targetless. This is the first season for Gaziantep Bld.Spor and I think survival will be a big success for a team with full of young and unexperienced players. Also I want to add that Gaziantep Bld.Spor are now playing home matches at Gaziantepspor's venue Kamil Ocak Stadium. At first match against Orduspor they won 3-0 and fans support were far better. I think they will get the three points needed.

Gaziantep Bld.Spor to win @ 2.20

Kocaelispor - Mersin I.Yurdu

There is nothing different for underachieved Kocaelispor after Bulent Baturman's arrival. They are still playing bad under expectations. But this is the last chance for them to keep playoff hopes. Mersinspor is in very critical situation as a relegation candidate but the performance they showed don't give hope to fans. Engin Korukir resigned 3 weeks ago and Nasir Belci became the new coach but they could be able to get only 1 point. Mersin I.Yurdu were trying to play a defensive football under Engin Korukir. Nasir Belci left the central defender and team captain Selim out of squad as his first job. Than changed to formation to 3-5-2. Now we are watching a more attacking minded team but they leave many gaps at back. Also there are 5 suspended regulars. Important midfielder Ulac, striker Ferdi and also Onal, Yaser and Bülent won't be in match squad.

Kocaelispor have only right winger Erhan Yilmaz suspended. But not important, because he is the worst player of the team. Also two central defenders Mehmet and Ibrahim are back from suspension. And top scorer Ozgur has been recovered form injury. Also I must add that Mersin's former coach Engin Korukir is a fan of Kocaelispor (exKocaelispor coach also) and he gave all info about Mersin to them. This will be an extra advantage for home side.

Kocaelispor to win @ 1.55

Re: Turkish football 7-9 April

Usakspor - C.Dardanelspor

Dardanelspor are playing really a good football and lost some unlucky matches at recent weeks. I watched them against Kocaelispor and Sakaryaspor. They lost two matches with 1-0 scores, but were far better team.

Also I totally agree these odds are bookie mistake. There is not a quality difference between Usakspor and C.Dardanelspor even C.Dardanelspor have better individuals. And now Usakspor have nothing to play while C.Dardanelspor is in %100 must win position. Because they have a tough fixture after this week and this is the real last chance for them. If they won't be unlucky they may get something from this game.

C.Dardanelspor not to lose @ 2.10

Telekomspor - A.Sebatspor

I will write the same comments above. A.Sebatspor must win to get advantage in survival race and they are playing good at recent matches. A.Sebatspor were the better side at last week's draw against Sakaryaspor and were unlucky to hit the woodwork twice. Also whole team made a trip to Ankara before 3 days to match to be more motivated. Only thing I'm afraid I can never estimate what will Telekom do. Very inconistent team. And they still have a chance to qualify for playoffs but I can't know if they want it. What will a team do in Super League without any supporters? I think A.Sebatspor may get at least 1 point from this match.

A.Sebatspor not to lose @ 2.10

Apr-12:30Samsunspor v Konyaspor2.203.202.87

My bet for today is Samsunspor not to lose this game. In Asia, the odds is Samsunspor give 0.25. As everyone know Samsunspor will fight not to relegate and I think this game is Samsunspor win by 1-0 or 2-1. Anyone got others comments

My bet for today is Ankaragucu not to lose this game. In Asia, the odds is Kayserispor give 0.75. Base on past records, Ankaragucu are in favor and additionally they are in near relegation area. Most like a draw game. Anyone got others comments
