Re: aussie football
I did ring for his tips last year after he was up 500 odd points one weekend, made a lot over the summer.
But the phone bill got a bit large (£1 a minute and you're on about 7 minutes) and some of picks were just a duplicate from the RFO so I mainly stuck to them.
This year I have gone more on differing positions of teams, points difference and the 5 match form in the RFO.

Re: aussie football
Slow week for me. Till today. The transfer window has just reopened today in the Victoria Leages and there seems to be a lot of movement. Looks like a harder than usual week but only if you don't have info. I'm gonna make sure i have some info. I think i better get myself off to spar and then by my clock i should have about 10 hours worth of info

Re: aussie football
Bah Betdirect do do it nd ive lost all my logins for them. Anyhow we will soldier on. Right i'm pretty up to date with my thoughts in Victoria up until last weeks games. Lets have a look at whats been happening this week.
Ill save these links for later
http://stonningtoncitysc.com/Links.html
State League Clubs
Altona City
Berwick City
Dingley City
Doncaster Rovers
Eastern Lions
Keilor Park
Knox City
Langwarrin
La Trobe University SC
Maribyrnong Greens
Monbulk
North Caulfield
Stonnington City
St Albans Saints
Werribee City
Western Eagles
Brunswick v Dande looks quiet interesting. Both of them got new managers 2 games ago from what i can pick up From memory im sure Dande lost their star striker before last week's game. He went to errrrr Coburgh. Can these players move before the transfer window reopens though?
Another Dande player has just announced that he's packing it in at Dandenong.

Re: aussie football
On the Victoria forum they let you have big fcuk off signatures. Here's one of the better ones but i ain't saying it's great
Quote:
Reporter: "What is your impression of Jermaine Pennant?"
Strachan: "I don't do impressions"
Reporter: So Gordon, any changes then?
Strachan: Naw, still 5ft 6, ginger and a big nose!
Gary Lineker: So Gordon, if you were English, what formation would you
play?
Strachan: If I was English I'd top myself!
On Wayne Rooney...
"It's an incredible rise to stardom. At 17 you're more likely to get a
call from Michael Jackson than Sven Goran Eriksson."

I don't want a sig. It's all shit aint it? Forums is shit, being online is shit, being offline is shit, it's all shit. the more i think of it i realise how great an aussie coupon really is. Actually it can be a bit shit as 9am when your needing a Western League miracle just to be getting half your money back
Nah i get a run for my money. As i say the enjoyment of getting the coupon together pays for itself. Everything has collapsed in my life. Online and off. I feel like i'm going under (it's a jungle sometimes). Anyhow all i want to care about today is the relative merits of the odds on offer on these games. I'm fed up spending my money on cigarettes and food just to get by. It's all gonna go on this week's coupon.

Speaking to a couple people today if pines toke their changes they should have pumped the greens. Greens just had a bit of luck go their way might not be so lucky next time.
|
19/05/2007 Frankston Pines 0 - 1 Bentleigh Green
All in Frankston's form looks quite good. Im a little disappointed to se them at odds on though. 8/11 ive got in bet365 but i don't think i could be interested at he mo. the 5/6 at Betdirect was almost a bit short i thought initially too. Surely the bookies could offer ht/ft on these games. Doesnt it follow that if a team is x price ft then they should be more than x price ht/ft? I suppose beggars can't be choosers. Some crazy ht/ft's out there poss. Prone to manipulation too i would like to think. I'll have a wee chat with a few of my Prezzie mates. Actually i bet you they just start getting pissed off with me and all change their mobile numbers

19/05/2007 South Springval 3 - 1 Northcote City
Northcote very unlucky not to have taken points from this game. Very good team which should be doing better, big call but they look to be one of the best teams in this comp(from what i have seen so far). the number 15 that came on should be shot as he missed 3 easy chances in the second half. Great width about Northcote as they streched us hard in the second half, but credit to our boys who held firm and finished the game off well.

I went against them in their derby game last week at Clifton Hill. A few of us did and we were pleased to see the 1-0 Clifton Hill win. Hpefully a few reports of that one will show up.

Re: aussie football
Friday Night Game: Doncaster vs Waverley 0-1
Bastards i told you all that if we could get to bet on that one i would be on Waverley and the 1-0 win. Wacverly are soooo predictable I wish it all was as easy.
Waverly or Doncaster have lost their coach over seas. Maybe find out more. Dunno if it helps much in aussie football. Maybe it does more so. all to do with the relationship between the manager and his team

Re: aussie football
i missed this. I might as well post it
Quote:
19/05/2007 Doveton 1 - 0 Fitzroy City
The Doves were at home against Fitzroy who kicked off with the wind in the first half.
The doves started the strongest with 90% possession for the entire first half, with the entire Fitzroy 11 behind the ball
Anyway the lads must of gone forward at least 30 times and that's no exaggeration either but the ball wouldn't go in the net.
The first real greal chance fell to Gary Davidson who was put through by Bristow who beat his man but saved by the keeper. Buhic,Psarros and Bristow should of made it 5 or 6 nil at HT.
Fitroy were unlucky themselves they went forward once which caught us on the counter but a great save from Tsianakas which was then cleared by the defence. How did we know that was going to happen
0-0 at HT
Second half was a bit more even but the doves started the strongest kicking with the wind and again putting immense pressure on Fitzroy's back line and the ball again just wouldn't go in .
Changes were then made 15 minutes into the second half pushing Bristow up front to partner Buhic in attack, which then really started to cause Fitroy problems.
The break through came in about the 75th minute mark with a through ball from Davidson which landed on the right hand side of the 18 yd box which Bristow got onto and was then held back but some how managed to get his left foot onto it, chip the keeper and to go into the top left hand corner, out of the top draw to take the lead 1-0.
That then sparked Fitzroy into action who then decided to go forward and cause the doves defence a few problems, they nearly equalised with a cross from the right to the back post which was headered and hit the post.
Doves hit back straight away with countless shots and opportunities but it wasn't going in. Fitzroy were again lucky when there stopper missed kicked the ball and Bristow who beat the last defender who unselfishly played it across to Buhic who missed the entire goal.
Bristow also had a great opportunity which was crossed and all he had to do was connect but he missed the entire ball as well.
It was definitley one of those days in front of goals.
Fitzroy applied more pressure with about 5 corners in a row but to no evail.
A far result would of been 7 or 8 - 2 but not to be.
Doves came away with 3 points and i guess that's all that matters after a game like that.
Thanks to Frank Mcgrellas who stayed behind after the game,it was a shame that not one single Fitzroy player did
Doves next game is away to Endeavour.

With a result like that how many of the South Dandy players were spat on by their own supporters, that is of course if any of there were still left at the end!!

I for one didn't want to coment on this game, but unfortunately it has to be the very worst I have seen of the Thunder, despite what we know of them with this team they do not belong there..

Quote:
Thunder to appoint a new coach, Zoran Trajcevski !!!
Maco coaching an albanian club, what do we call people like that ?
|
(to be confirmed)
Pines looking good mind-
Quote:

Considering Billy Armour was unable to take the park in the second half and Criag Metcalfe unable to play until the transfer window opens with a few other players who are just on the outer with injuries the boys are going to have to keep up the good level of soccer to keep their places. I still believe we haven't seen the best from the pines this season.
|
So there should be a few teams with new players etc this week. sounds interesting and unpredictable to me but i love it. I reckon i'll get that coffee ive been promising myself all day
