Dundalk V Monaghan HT-Ft @4/5: It may be predictable but its a bet that has been good to me this season. Dundalk HT-FT against Monaghan tonight gets the vote. Monaghan have lost both games against Dundalk in Oriel park since the new synthetic pitch was laid.(4-0 and 3-1). True they drew with Dundalk earlier on in the season but that was on a really terrible pitch which didn't suit Dundalks passing game.

Monaghan have a horrible injury/suspension list coming into the game. They played against Finn Harps on Monday with a patched up side and were lucky to escape with a 2-0 defeat(Harps also hit post twice). They come into this game with 2 defenders from that game suspended. They really are struggling to field a team at the moment.

Anyway I fully expect Dundalk to re-open a 5 point gap at the top tonight and I predict a 3 or 4-0 win. Hopefully at least one of those goals will come in the 1st half.
