WESTGATE V BENTLEIGH

Just ignore me, realised it as soon as I had asked it. It was the 2 points on the pools ( VOID ) that confused me.

Re: Aussie Thread: 20th July

Fair week again for me Bromsgrovegreen, but also frustrating. 5 of my 7 selections that I originally posted were winners and I also added Melbourne U and Berwick. Sadly I took out Langy and Fitzroy. Obviously still waiting on Bentleigh and this could turn a small profit into something decent.

Re: Aussie Thread: 20th July

Just a regular punter, who seems to fall into the same traps as everybody else. Taking out 2 winners and replacing them with 2 winners, is really annoying and quite frankly a bit pointless. If your lucks in then of course you take out 2 losers and replace them with 2 winners. Just need to hold my nerve a little bit more.

Re: Aussie Thread: 20th July

nah nothing yet. Glenroy had a few out Broms. It put me off backing them. Must only have a few weeks of dissapointing season to go. It's as samoan says it's all really just your luck with some 50/50 value priced calls. All you can hope is that it flops out ok. I aint gonna winge about the draws and the what ifs etc of my season. I could though but i wont The bookies really seem to catch up with it all and it's been pretty tight all in for the past 3 weeks for me. Usually ive got something thats got the old heart a fluttering. Why oh why did i ...nah nothing.

Thanks again folks and remember your all welcome to chip in your thoughts and fancies on next week's thread. Ask questions about your fancies as that gets folks a thinking. anyhow gl samoan and g'day sports

Re: Aussie Thread: 20th July

just eating my beans on toast but im reading this-

Quote:
Anyone going to tell us what went on today, I heard two Maribyrnong players were red carded and the game was abandonded at Half time?
Quote:
I heard the ref got bottled therefore the game was abandoned.
Quote:
There is only one way to describe behaviour of two players sent off - disgraceful. First for swearing at ref for a minor decison (free kick not given at half way line), second red card was a second yellow immediately after for kicking the ball away. To top it off, some idi0t throws a bottle at ref from the stands. Luckily, no one was hit.
No excuses here, nosaJ. Instead of worrying about mind processing and responsiveness, see it this way: it puts your team in a driving seat for next week's game.

Re: Aussie Thread: 20th July

Just read the Langy report and seems like it could have gone either way. However with both myself and komp fancying Langwarrin, and then changing our minds I suppose it was a banker home win. Also interesting happenings at Maribyrnong ( although not for the first time ) Do the Ref's get protection money when they officiate there ? Anyway a good finish for me with Bentleigh and despite several changes of heart I have come out on top. The late info on Nunawading was much appreciated ( Thanks Komp ) and ironically I left out the war at Maribyrnong from my selections.

Re: Aussie Thread: 20th July

Thanks Samoan. Glad you got a few in this week. as usual i'm still hitting posts etc. I got about half my money back but i frittered it thoughout the day. i need a bigger plan see. I always find it funny when the Frankston Pines players and fans keep going on about my ex team mate and pal Billy Armour. Seems like a key man for them. i'll have to get in touch if not for this season but for him to fill us in for next.

Anyhow Samoan i'm off for a snooze so as i can get up when your all in bed and get some work done. cheers chaps.
