Not much reasoning necessary. Both outsiders are tough 2A sides. RM will rest a load of players prior to El Clasico, while Valencia are facking awful. It's all about prices anyway. Those two couldn't last. Worst case scenario, arb them off on Betfair.
No worries Rouzhamo, as I said, I wasn't arguing with either of your picks, it's just always nice to see a bit of reasoning behind them rather than just a pick with no comments whatsoever.

Re: Copa del Rey 12/12/07 + 19/12/2007

Porteros: Dudek y Codina.
Defensas: Pepe, Marcelo, Drenthe, Heinze, Metzelder, Michel Salgado y Torres.
Centrocampistas: Gago, Robben, Guti, y Balboa.
Delanteros: Soldado, Saviola e Higuaín
Real Madrid squad for tonight's game. According to Marca, they'll be lining up as follows:

Dudek; Míchel Salgado, Metzelder, Heinze, Torres; Gago, Guti, Drenthe; Robben, Higuaín y Saviola

That's 9 of the starting 11 from the weekend not even in the squad, let alone the starting lineup, and yet it's still a very strong side. Couldn't back Madrid at such a short price, the Cup can always throw up shocks, but I'd be very surprised if Madrid didn't win this one, to be honest.

Marca's predicted lineups for Espanyol v Deportivo:
RCD Espanyol: Lafuente, Zabaleta, Jarque, Lacruz, Chica, Lola, De la Peña, Rufete, Luis García, Riera y Jonathan Soriano.
Deportivo de La Coruña: Aouate; Barragán, Chapi, Piscu or Aythami, Filipe Luis; Lafita, Sergio, Juan Rodríguez, Riki; Rubén y Bodipo

With both sides making changes it's a bit of a lottery. Seems Deportivo may be slightly more concerned with their game against Levante at the weekend though, so I'd probably just go with Espanyol to edge this one.

Marca's predicted lineups for Irun v Valencia:
Real Unión: Otermin; Larrainzar, Gabarain, Berruet, Borda, Carracedo, Lucio, Soria, Goikoetxea, Sergio Francisco, Romo.
Valencia: Mora, Miguel or Jaume, Helguera, Marchena, Moretti; Montoro, Sunny, Silva; Vicente, Arizmendi y Joaquín

Have gone for Irun on the DNB here. They're a strong home side, and Valencia in the past few weeks have been absolutely pathetic.

Real Unión Irún (DNB) v Valencia @ 4.2 3pts

Re: Copa del Rey 12/12/07 + 19/12/2007

Couple more bets on the Irun v Valencia game. Valencia have been struggling badly for goals of late, and Villa and Morientes both being injured isn't helping their cause there. Irún have conceded just 4 goals in 9 home games. Odds of 6.5 on Valencia not to score look worth a shot to me. Also fancy Irun to score tonight, so have taken them at 1.65

Irun to score @ 1.65 5pts
Valencia not to score @ 6.5 2pts

Re: Copa del Rey 12/12/07 + 19/12/2007

Yeah, looks like Zigic has turned the match around. Was brought on as a sub in the 58th, equalised in the 61st and put them ahead in the 71st. I'd settle for an equaliser now and stakes refunded on my DNB bet, although I'll not hold my breath
