Re: Greece: 22/23rd Dec

Well I hope I'm back around...

PAOK - Levadiakos

PAOK can be really unreliable, I wouldn't bet anything on this game for sure. It won't be a surprise for me to see any result here. For PAOK several players will be missing (not any of the top players but they had been part of the first team) and PAOK lacks attacking strength. A 0-0 draw might be the result...

Xanthi - Kalamaria

Xanthi hasn't been so strong at home this year. Yet at 1.70+ it is a very good offer to back. Kalamaria will be missing Abonsah (a player that might be a first team starter) and I see them lacking the quality to avoid a loss.

Re: Greece: 22/23rd Dec

No bet for me for both of today's games. Levadiakos is poor and Paok, despite its problems, is winning at home but still odds are far from being interesting.

Xanthi is probably better than Kalamaria and they are traditionally strong at home. However, team has not been producing much attacking threat and I think it may be risky to bet on them.

Hope for some bet from the rest of the games.

Re: Greece: 22/23rd Dec

pelatis was really close to the 0-0 at Toumba but Paok managed to score a goal at the dying moments of the game. At the other one, Xanthi scored 6 times and managed an easy win (funny that I said that they did not have much attacking threat so far but that was the truth as they had only scored 8 in the previous 12 games.

Regarding the rest of the games, I will try a bet on ARIS away at Iraklis @expekt @ 2.70. This is a local derby, there may be a subjective look in my pick here as I am an Aris fan after all but still, I think I'm over that. I think that offering balanced odds at this one does not seem a perfect idea and most bookmakers have been lowering their prices for the awaywin. Expekt have not, so far.

Aris is coming from the 6-0 thrashing at Munich v Bayern that ended their european adventures. It was a hard lesson but anybody that has seen the game will probably admit that the scoreline would be different if the Aris' goalkeeper had not been in a tragic day, gifting 4 goals to Luca Toni. Still, this is a totally different game and that result should motivate Aris' players in order to prove that it was a one-off result and that they can do better. Iraklis is not as strong as Aris by any means, they are in turmoil changing their coach and I already placed a successful bet against them last week saying that they have had more than their share of luck so far.

Home advantage is not that important in this local derby as Aris will have quite a few fans in the stadium. All taken into account (for example Aris difficulty to score so far) I still think that Aris are the favourites here and 2.7 is high. Good luck.

Thank Galilee. I'll be having a look at all tomorrows games when i get myself together and Aris could well fit the bill. Good luck
