Just a couple of early thoughts about SerieB.

Lecce - Avellino looks an obvious pick, but I believe it's quite solid. The guests collected their 3rd defeat in a row last midweek and overall away from home are really poor (0/3/10 8/25).
Lecce come from a defeat as well. Curious fact they went down when playing in 11 vs 10 and finally got a red card themselves (Valdes, who will miss the upcoming one).

It's not wise backing short-priced teams in Serie B, so I'll rather have Lecce on the european handicap (-1) @2,30 (Stanleybet).

Genoa v Sampdoria, Sunday, 1345 GMT, Five

Tough, tough, tough - they don't come harder to call than this, as the Derby della Lanterna takes centre stage in Serie A.

You can tell as much from the nature of the market - bookies can't separate these two - Ladbrokes, for example, make them 13/8 apiece, and the draw is less than 2/1 everywhere bar bet365.

Genoa have done well to date in the top flight, and have won three on the trot at the Stadio Ferraris against Parma, Atalanta and Catania.

Sampdoria are also in good form, as you saw last Sunday when they nailed Napoli.

So it's going to be a tight affair, and is probably best watched from a betting perspective - in week four these two rivals drew 0-0, and a similar result would be no surprise here either.
