Sevilla v Real Zaragoza Saturday 9pm Sky Sports Xtra
Much depends here on how swiftly Sevilla bounce back from their trip to Turkey in midweek, where they lost 3-2 to Fenerbache in the Champions League.
In truth, that wasn't a bad result for Sevilla, who have done well to net two away goals in what's always a hostile environment in which to play football, so they should be up for this fixture, assuming they recover quickly from their European sojourn.
The hosts are always pretty reliable on their own patch, where they've won eight of 12 games in the Primera, and only Real Madrid are a more potent force in front of goal at home - Sevilla have netted 29 times there thus far this term.
Zaragoza are having a nightmare time of it on the road to date, where they've won just once in 11 attempts, conceding 21 times in the process.
Put Sevilla's goal threat together with Zara's porous back line and one thing stands out - that's a home win, and you should invest accordingly.
Barcelona v Levante Sunday 6pm Sky Sports 3
Barca will be buoyant after a magnificent performance against Celtic in midweek, and it's impossible to perceive that Levante could halt their progress at the Nou Camp.
Okay, so the hosts haven't been firing on all cylinders in La Liga, it's true, but Real Madrid's equally patchy domestic form means the title race isn't over just yet, and the Catalans will be chasing maximum points here.
Levante's away form is dire, with a record that reads 1-1-9, and the fact they've been protesting over the club's failure to pay the players for the best part of a year hardly inspires confidence.
The visitors did get the better of Osasuna last Sunday, but lightening won't be striking twice, this one has Barca written all over it. Layers know that too, and all betting angles are covered, so keep your money in your pocket here.
Real Madrid v Getafe Sunday 8pm Sky Sports 3
Madrid will be relieved to be hosting Getafe this weekend, after recent disappointments against the likes of Real Betis and Almeria, and defeat in Rome on Tuesday evening.
Getafe's away form makes for gloomy reading - they've lost seven of 12 so far, and haven't won in three games now either.
In short, no shocks expected, because Madrid will be confident of getting back to winning ways, and at the prices, no bet either.

Re: Spain: 23/24th Feb
Racing Santander v Almeria
I might take a chance on Almeria @ 14/5.
Not the most prolific of scorers but they have shown a good level of form during recent weeks with form figures of 5-2-0 and they have only conceded once during that run.
The worry is that last weeks win against Murcia was a bit of a struggle.
Racing's priority just now is the Copa del Rey. They have a semi final on Thursday against Getafe. I have no team news but if I remember correctly they did rest one or two before the last round but having said that a 0-1 defeat at Camp Nou was still respectable.
But no win in the last 4 for Racing makes the price on Almeria seem attractive.
Almeria 2pts @ 14/5

Re: Spain: 23/24th Feb
According to Marca, Racing will have Luis Fernández, Duscher, Smolarek and Munitis back again, although Munitis is likely to be left on the bench to start with, saving him for the cup game.
Almeria are without Felipe Melo and Pulido, suspended, but winter signings Guilherme, Iriney and Paunovic all make the squad for the first time.
Worth noting Racing's recent poor run has pretty much coincided with Munitis being missing (he last played against Bilbao on 6th January. Almeria in excellent form, but most of it's come at home, personally I think I'll be avoiding this one, good luck though Keith.

Re: Spain: 23/24th Feb
I like under 2.5 goals @1.6 on Racing Santander v Almeria game
Racing Santander are solid at home although they having scoring troubles lately.
Almeria are in decent run of six matches without conceding a goal.
Racing took the win with 1:0 in their first game this season and I think that they can sneak it again.
Both teams are solid in defense and I prefer under option.
