Going with them prices Cobras, Pascoe, Western S and Waverley pays 9/4

Lads will be skinnier than that but if it pays 2/1 - i'll be on !!

sod the singles lark

Re: DINGO TIME - It's The Aussie Thread! - 2nd/3rd June

you not fancy a wee perm Kegman?

Im in Aussie Limbo. No UK High st prices out online. Im snookered. Looking down at what ive got ticked off as being of interest-

Williamstown are going along pretty steadlly and are widely thought to be a big dander this season and a team you dont want to play. Just noticed the odds. Skybet's 1/2 looks about right to me so if i can get near the 4/6 bet365 offer i could be interested. Bayule seem distinctly average this season and i think Williamstown are due a win (again). Not great reasoning but it will do for now.

Victoria div 3 looks as tight as ever. I dont think theres been that many draws in this league but i always find it the hardest to call. Waverly should win cosily as the odds sugges. I was gonna look at sydenham but when you take away ballarat's last 2 games v top two in werribee and sunbury their form looks ok. I aint taking them on.

Bet365's 2/1 on Mooroolbark looks a bit big to me. Endeavour are ok at home but i was expecting the barkers to be about 6/4 so that came as a suprise. Mooroolbark are starting to show the form that made them title contenders last season. Likewise Heatherton have to be worth a look at 3/1. Sandringham are going well and are good at home but the unpredicatable heatherton is well worth a single imo. Theyve won at Sandringham the past 3 seasons too.

Templestowe are an ok side but im more of a fan of Berwick's form at the mo. 11/8 noice.

Into the murky depth of victoria 6 and 7. I remember Darebin in the 5th last season and theyre scoring goals. Hume i like, anyone playing Brimbank. Southern S (??) in Div 7.

In southern super league i was dismayed to see Ad Rovers have won 5/6 at Ad City and drawn the other. Not one for me at the price. Metro stars at 11/5 looks big poss too imo.

Comets at 10/11 looks ok to me on first inspection though NAB were tipped by ADB last week (after the event) so there might be something in them. To me though they look opposing due to not scoring v anyone bar seaford in their last 5. Strikers i'll have of course.

All down to the odds i get. football coupons are my best friends.

Re: DINGO TIME - It's The Aussie Thread! - 2nd/3rd June

Good man Kegman the exercise will do you good

The big thing to me this week is as mentioned teams that have lost players already to the WC. Im gonna have a scout about and see if theres any titbits for now.

Quote:
westvale to win is a long shot. A draw maybe. Paco are without many of their first team players. Some have gone to the World Cup, others are injured.
Still, Westvale will have to play out of their skin to win...especially away from home

Quote:
Werribee have a good blend of players across the park. Defensively they are solid, the midfielders are hard working and creative whist the strikers, not having their best day in this game are of a high quality. Clear to see why they sit on top of the ladder and frankly, l have not seen a team this season that will better them, division 2 awaits.

As for Sydenham, some signs of improvement were evident in this game but still not performing over the full 90 minutes. Consistency is an issue with players often going missing for 15-30 minutes in games and more often then not the team has been punished.

sydenham fan/player

Quote:
A fairy concise report there!

Having watched Sydenham in the last two weeks, there was a slight improvement but still far from the team that was!

Positives:
Back 3 looked in control
Nick Mercs in middle had a great game
Created a few chances that should have been taken

Negatives
3 players in midfield acting as passengers leaving the work load up to Nick Merc & Pomi

Inexperianced strikers who a better suited to a 100m sprint race.

As for Werribbee - theres no substitution for experiance!

Re: DINGO TIME - It's The Aussie Thread! - 2nd/3rd June

Berwick and Templestowe played in the same league last season before they were moved up/across. The results favoured Berwick on paper

Templestowe Eagles 2 X 4 Berwick City 07-May-05
Berwick City 1 X 0 Templestowe Eagles 23-Jul-05

I'll be watching to se if these highly rated ex VPL players sign for Southern Stars (Dingley)

Quote:
i think southern stars will get promoted with or without the durand bros...more to the point knox will be in all sorts now with their best 2 players leaving so early in the season...for their sake they better be hoping its all rumours...

yeah, once again our failure in the last 3rd is costing us any hope of promotion.
We have outplayed our opposition in 85% of games however fail to capitilise.
The ref didnt help, but no excuses .... goals win you games/
They had one chance and finished what we couldnt do with our ten chances.

Must regroup on and off pitch before this weeks big game at Santos against Comets who dont seem to have any trouble in front of goals.
too tired to type

White Star Dandenong v Southern Suburbs 1-1, this match is the game of the week, both teams strong in attack, defensively ss will have the edge but will have their hands full with the white star forwards. ss have no doubt had a great start to the season but i dont think they are as comfortable on top as we all think they are, maybe their luck might start to turn, but for now are still the team to beat. draw will be a great result for the chasing pack (position 4 to 8)

Doveton v Noble Park United 3-0, doveton seem to be coming good, supposedly with all these great new signings they should do it easily against noble park who dont have the greastest defensive record. i would love to know the age of the players doveton are signing because when we played them they didn't have the youngest squad.

Riversdale SC v Monash University 2-2, honestly dont know who will win this one, riversdale did well holding croydon to a draw last week so they might be on the improve, but monash have been rather consistent so im just guessing a draw.

Brandon Park v Croydon City Arrows 2-0, coming to freeway reserve will not be a easy fixture for anyone this year, we will bounce back after a disappointing loss last week, it should be a good match, looking forward to this one.

Carrum United v Springvale City Vales 0-3, springy will continue their run up the ladder after having the points deducted from them. now that there keeper can legally play i doubt they will be conceding 19 goals in the next 8 matches.

Rowville Eagles v Warragul United 1-2, isn't warragul sick of drawing already? warragul should take the three points as they are not an easy team take maximum points off. oh yer and my other tip is that one of the rowville players will post in his match report that rowville controlled the game and were unlucky to lose.

Lebo keeper saved Springy big time yesterday

Penalty save, point blank save and superb free kick tipped away.

Brandon Park will give most teams

melb. uni coach resigned after yesterday's game due to health reasons. congrats. to john buckley for an awesome job on getting us up there early on in the season. it's now going to get tough with losing 4 players for rest of season and 3 more for the world cup. plus both assistant and ressie coaches away for world cup too. i might have to step in and take the reigns!!! unless there are any coaches out there???
Avondale have a load of injuries the past few weeks. Here's hoping they still have.

Ladbrokes are all a bunch of b'stards according to Kegman there. I'll get some in the morning Kegman. Its worth staying up for. I was dreaming of aussie footie today. Names just going over my mind Brimbank, Glenroy, Keilor etc etc repeat to fade

I think last week we all got off on the wrong footing. People werent happy with us appearing to be up our own arses. We arent but we get stuck in. This tell the story to me. The TDP Aussie Thread-

Re: DINGO TIME - It's The Aussie Thread! - 2nd/3rd June

Whitestar will be losing at least 5 players for the WC due to their Polish connection. Dont think it will bother us for another couple of weeks though. Im sure we'll be told who's losing what then. No need to get too worried the now.

Truth be told im a bit depressed. Im gonna have a drink and relax a bit. Im fed up looking at Doveton's big signings etc Im for a day off from myself.
