Hey ya jimmy, Shams should win tonight but it's no certainty and at that price i'm staying well away. They've won just 1 of their last 6 and have a terrible record against Cobh. If I was going with anything in this one it'd be unders.

Re: Eircom Leagues: 3-5th July

Drogheda -1 @ 2.07 (2.5u)
although drogs coulda lost in the dying seconds against galway last week, they did dominate the game and with ucd looking cagey of late, and toothless up front, they will miss the pace on the counter that shane fitzgerald offers today.
i cannot see it being any other way apart from one way traffic, and with faz probably getting a debut, it's a timely boost for drogs right now.

Shamrock - Cobh under2.25 @ 1.90 (2.5u)
not sure how to gauge shamrocks form, 2 wins on the trot doesn't say too much, they played for almost the whole game against 10 men and yet still played poor football and loads of hoofing balls.
against galway, they got 2 early goals vs an out of sorts and uncomfortable galway, who were trialling a 433/451 formation as opposed to their usual 442 and by then it was a mountain to climb.
all in all, i think -0.75 is a sustantial hcp to cover for a still unconvincing shamrock side, cobh are poor, but they have alot to play for today, and if the weather stays wet and windy, it could all get messy.

Im going for Cork, Drogheda, Shamrock low stakes treble to pass the night. All in decent form playing opposition who are playing terrible at the minute. No time to explain. Good Luck all

Re: Eircom Leagues: 3-5th July

sorry Chief77 but I take Shelbourne

Shelbourne will be without Alan Keely but at full strength with David McGill
Shelbourne: W W W W L D

Waterford: W D L W W W
suspended Kieran Fitzgerald

Waterford is on fire but Shelbourne dont tell us last sentence. They like play with Wateford:

25.04.2008 D1 First Division Shelbourne Waterford Utd 2-0
06.10.2006 PR Premier League Waterford Utd Shelbourne 0-1
17.07.2006 PR Premier League Shelbourne Waterford Utd 5-1
07.04.2006 PR Premier League Waterford Utd Shelbourne 0-1
16.09.2005 PR Premier League Shelbourne Waterford Utd 5-0

and another one without Waterford's victory only some draw

Shelbourne DNB 1.9
+0.5 1.6

Good luck ACLN, just to let you know though that all the games from 2006 and before are not really relevant as both teams were premier division clubs back then and have completely different teams this season(especially Shels who basically had to start from scratch) Anyway it wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world if Shels came away with the points so again good luck.

Two losses and a money back. Both Cork and Drogheda won but both were losing at half time and had to produce stirring comebacks. That man Mooney with another double for Cork. He's becoming as reliable as Ronaldo last season for anytime goalscorer bet.
