Re: 18-21ST July: Ireland

Bray V Galway @2.22: Giving Bray another chance after their poor showing against Bohs the other night. They'll find this a bit easier considering Galway have lost 6 of their 9 aways. According to reports Bray played well against Bohs in the 2nd half but just couldn't get on the scoresheet. Hopefully they can do so this evening. Galway have a pretty threadbare squad at the moment and there is talk of kenna togging out in the coming weeks! Things must be pretty bad.

Wexford V Waterford @1.89: Wexford have lost 5 of their last 6 and it could well be 6 of theri last 7 by the end of the evening. Waterford have won 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5 and can keep pace with the top two in the league with a win tonight. Waterford have played Wexford three times winning every time. Waterford will be bhoyed by the news that their financial situation has been sorted out for the time being.

Derry(DNB) V Bohs @4/6: Can't see in form Derry losing this evening. Draw is a possibility which is why i'm going to take Derry(DNB). Derry beat Bohs 4-0 a few weeks back but that was a league cup game and Bohs rested a few first teamers. Fenlon should keep it tight tonight and unders looks likely but with hoime advantage i'm going to take Derry.

Longford V Sporting Fingal @2.96 Too big a price to resist considering Longford beat Shels a few weeks back. Fair enough they've lost 3 in a row since then but two of those were away games and they were all narrow defeats. Almost 2/1 is way to big for me. It may also be in the back of Fingals minds that they lost 5-1 to Longford back in March.

Verdict:
Bray @2.22
Waterford @1.89
Derry(DNB) @4/6
Longford @2.96

Re: 18-21ST July: Ireland

Interesting note that Galway manager, Jeff Kenna might play in the match too..He took part in the friendly match against Leeds United and his name is in the squad list against Bray...I guess he will play at least a half here...Not interested bettingwise cos' Bray is not the team of last year. And I smell a draw with goals here like 1-1; Galway is not a team easily surrender tough they are last in the table and probably doomed to relegation...
Agree with the Chief77 on Derry DNB might be a possibilty; but not convinced yet; Derry +0.25 another option here if found..Too many factors to be considered...Guess we'll see a draw here, might put some on it or might not

Shamrock Rovers with handicap is another value option here; and after the cup victory hope St. PAtricks odds will be slashed till Monday; Shamrock has power and squad to get something from here depending on team news too...

Re: 18-21ST July: Ireland

Only one team for me tonight and thats Limerick. They have been in super form the past number of games beating Dundalk, Longford and Shelbourne in their last 3 away games. They played against Shelbourne in Dublin last Friday night with 10 men for a full half yet still won the game 2-0. Monaghan are a much weaker side than Dundalk and Shelbourne yet have been improving themsleves recently. Ive been told Limerick have signed 5/6 Premier League players and its been showing in their recent games. In their past 3 league games Limerick have scored 8 goals conceding 0. 6/4 in the local and thats good enough for me. Good luck folks

Complete and utter FAILURE!

Trying to salvage something this evening from the wreckage of my weekend picks.

St Pats V Shamrock Rovers: Over 2.5 goals @2.4: The last three games between these sides at Richmond Park have all had 3 or more goals so there might be a wee bit of value taking the 5/4 on offer. Pats tend to attack the opposition at home while Rovers have scored in 4 of their last 5 away games so hopefully there will be a few goals this evening. If there are goals then Mark Quigley could well be among the scorers. He's been in great form lately and has scored 7 goals in his last 7 games.

Verdict:
Over 2.5 goals @2.4
Quigley to score anytime @7/5

Overs looked good when Quigley scored after 6 minutes but alas it ended 1-1.
Small profit on the night thanks to young Quigley.

Good man ACLN getting your bet up. Two goals means YOU'RE A WINNER!
