I went to mention that then realised all I was saying was, "not one I'd want to bet on." Which is true.

Shelbourne odds a bit stingy if you ask me. Derry tend to play well in Dublin no? Oooh, they haven't lost to Shelbourne in the last 10 meetings. Better form Derry are in on paper too. Shelbourne's home record looking impressive but I really couldn't be backing Shelbourne here with much confidence. They were pretty comfortable winners against Bray on Friday night but Bray created a few chances. Meanwhile Derry were quite disappointing at UCD. Ooooh, aaaah, it's impossible. I have no idea. A draw?

Aye. Everytime one of these matches looks like an under it has goals! I read a comment the other day saying Derry were the best attacking side in the league and Shelbourne themselves have quality in attack. Plus Bray did create some chances against Shels as I said so you can expect Derry to. I really wouldn't fancy taking 1.60 for the under 2.5 personally. I wouldn't be confident in the overs either though. I'm still having a look to see if there's anything I fancy taking.

Something I have noticed is that Shelbourne always seem to score at least once in the 1st half. I might end up chancing a wee bit on Shelbourne/Draw @ 15.00's or whatever it is. Sorry, don't mind me.

City seek a big improvement as they travel to Shelbourne, with a chance to top the table heading into the summer break.

Killian Brennan should be fit to face Shelbourne
Derry City are awaiting fitness updates on Killian Brennan and Paddy McCourt ahead of Tuesday night's Eircom League trip to Shelbourne (1945 BST).

However, Candystripes boss Stephen Kenny is certain that the duo will recover from niggling injuries as the Brandywell side aim for top spot.

"Both players should be fine, but there is a still a big doubt over Ken Oman," said Derry boss Stephen Kenny.

Victory will move Derry into top spot ahead of Drogheda on goal difference.

However, Kenny is not taking any chances against the Dubliners.

"Shels are on a great run recently and they are the favourites for the league," said Kenny.

"I also feel the balance of their side has improved since the start of the season.

"But we will have to improve from last week's performance against UCD."

Derry City have defender Ken Oman fit following an ankle injury as they go for the win that would put them top of the table going into the summer break.

"We're going to have to play an awful lot better than we did at Belfield on Friday if we are to get anything from this match," stressed Candystripes boss Stephen Kenny.

"The last couple of games we played really well against them and didn't get a break," said Shels boss Pat Fenlon whose side haven't beaten Derry in ten games stretching back to May 2004.

"I don't believe that there is anything in it. We just haven't had the rub of the green against them in the last few games, so we're overdue a bit of that," added Fenlon who remains without Jamie Harris, Jim Crawford and Greg O'Halloran.
