Re: Scandinavian Weekend: 15th/16th July
I will be away this weekend on holliday, so i think i stick some quick thoughts of the round in norway out here now.
Latest news is that Starts coach Tom Nordli has been fired, and the asistant Wiggen would probably lead them on Sunday. Start will also miss important Hæstad.
Odd will miss GK Jarstein and D Borchers. Don't know how Start will react on a new coach, but most teams often do their job better....
Think its time to Stabæk to finally win at home, after six(!!) draws so far at home. HamKam isn't the best away team, and will miss GK Rønningen here.
Two teams in good form will meet at Alfheim were Vålerenga will visit Tromsø. Rushfeldt scored in his first game last weekend for Tromsø, and together with Årst they will make problems for every defenders in norway. Vålerenga without Hoset, but he will maybe be sold to Troyes. If Tromsø shows the same fighting-spirit on sunday, as they did against Lillestrøm in last homegame, i think they can win, and holds them as small favorites.
In 1.div i think Bodø/Glimt has been done to big favorites against Sogndal. Sogndal has played very well latly and are capabel to get points, and odds around 3.5 is tempting.
Bryne will miss three players against Moss. Steinsland, Kydland and Espedal is out. Bryne without losses at home. Moss has been very unstabel, but plays normally best when they meet other good teams(points against Strømsgodset, Hønefoss and LøvHam). H2H Moss has only lost 6 of the last 19 games against Bryne. X2 is tempting.
Kongsvinger is strong home, and meet a Aalesund in not the best form. Aalesund haven't won in their last three away games. Think 1X looks nice.
Other bets that might be good to consider is, over in the game between MS and LøvHam. MS has a average on nearly 5 goals per game, LøvHam a little more than 2 goals.
In 2.div i think Kolstad, Korsvoll and Steinkjer should be considered, odds on all looks good, as they are small favorites in my eyes. Also Vard should managed to win at home.
Hope someone can fill in the latest news when they comes. Good luck!
