Athlone havent scored a goal in their past 4 games. This from their last one too-

Dundalk may have had the majority of play and possession but they failed to make it count for long spells in the game. In fact there were few noteworthy shots at goal from either side

Atvidaberg v Degerfors

It's the only "serious" match today, but unfortunately it's quite open. Acc. to the "book" Atvidaberg are slight favourites but doesn't mean anything to me.

Degerfors seems better team despite departure of their prominent goalscorer, they are fighting tooth and nail to secure Superettan football next year and the distance from the relegation zone can't guarantee safety yet.

I'm pretty much interested in OVER 2.5 as both sides seem capable of scoring and going further on, the only thing that bothers me is the rainy weather that can add to the unpredictability of the tie.

Shamrock Rovers - Athlone Town

Shamrock Rovers relegated last year have only one objective, instant promotion. At the moment everything looks rosy for them as they are unbeaten last 6 matches. Shanrocks' main strength is undoubtedly their defense, 6 goals conceded in 20 games, the best in the division. 5 cleansheets in last 5 matches.

Athlone are not doing very well, sitting 7 in the league. In last 4 matches without a goal and 12 scored altogether Athlone is is the least harmful team in the league. In two previous encounters Shamrock beat Athlone comfortable 2-0 and 3-0.

All in all Shamrock are promotion favourites, have teh best defense, unbeaten at home and playing the worst attack today. The outcome is crystal clear, isn't it.

I personally think that Athlone won't even score a goal and knowing that they will try to keep it at 0-0, so it might go Under as well.
