Dinamo - Steaua


Big derby, both teams in great form. Steaua showed character on Sunday against Rapid, they were 1-0 down, but in 10 men they still managed to get a draw. Dinamo has 7 deserved wins in a row; they come after a difficult game away to Vaslui, where the hosts clearely dominated the first half, but a great team knows how ho handle such situations and they won 2-1. Tonight we will have two very offensive teams, and i expect lots of goals. It's true, Dinamo received 3 goals in 7 matches and Steaua - 2, but tonight those defences will have a hard time. I see huge value in over 2.5 and i will try a small bet on over 3.5, too.

CFR Cluj - U Craiova

1.95 offered by Pinnacle for over 2.5 is really a gift here. Craiova is a very young team and they have huge problems especially in defence. The long-time injury of captain Ciuca was very important, without him they are very weak. Offensively, they can count sometimes (especially at home), but it won't be the case today. They will also miss Stanga and Ionescu, very important players. CFR lost to Timisoara on Saturday, but there is a difference of class between Timisoara and Craiova. I have few scenarios in mind for today's game, but all of them include lots of goals. Over 2.5 is an excellent choice.

As i said before, Craiova is a very young and fragile team. They come to Dej confident they can beat CFR though(?!) and i think they will be severely punished. CFR, even changing 1 or 2 of the three strikers, are very powerful in attack and they can score 3 or 4 times. Craiova's problem is that even if they try to defend, they aren't able to do it. I'll try a small speculative bet on CFR (-2.5), 3-0 or 4-1 are possible scores.

Odds on maribor are about 1,15. Maribor is going to field their best players in this game. Crensovci are on the bottom in the third league. I expect Maribor to win with at least 4-5 goals.
I placed a big bet at my local on maribor to win by 3 or more goals.

Gloria - Vaslui


Ioan Ovidiu Sabau's Gloria is a solid team, completely different from the one in the past. They are strong at home and they don't receive goals easily. Personally, i find the return of R. Marginean after an injury very important, he's a good midfielder loaned from CFR Cluj. They are in form, after 4-1 at home to Craiova and 1-0 away to UTA and they expect to continue the good run. Vaslui had to play with Dinamo, Steaua and Rapid in the first 7 matches, so they should't be too upset with only 4 points in 7 games. In the last days, though, the atmosphere got worse, with their best midfielder Croitoru, keeper Haisan and midfielder Jovanovici all left the team. It will be difficult for them to get a point from Bistrita, it will be a tight game decided by a goal or two. I don't see great value in Bistrita @1.55-1.60, but i will take two exact scores, Bistrita's favourites, 1-0 and 2-0.
