Not sure there's much of that kind of news around yet BetBoom. Keep checking Barça's website, they have it in English too http://www.fcbarcelona.com/esp/home-...ome/home.shtml

Eto'o is certainly out though, he's got a ruptured meniscus in his right knee, he'll be out for 2-3 months.

Valencia's website is also in English

Any thoughts on Osasuna R.C ?
I see they won away last week.

Re: Spanish Football 30th Sept - 1st Oct

Osasuna have a tendency to rotate their squad quite a bit Winrew, which makes them difficult to predict. They were also involved in the UEFA Cup last night (although so were their opponents this weekend, Espanyol), which is enough to put them well and truly on my leave well alone list.

Re: Spanish Football 30th Sept - 1st Oct

murcia at 2.5 stan james look like a good bet ,alaves is promotion candidate but they are not something special (so far )murcia is also, and they scoring in every game so tomorrow they have good chance ,cadiz is not so offensive team at least in this first rounds .....

murcia @2.5....... 3 pts

numancia is looking too big 2.88 stan james

vecindario won just one game so far castelon 4:2,in 3 games they didn`t score a goal....
numancia is not the best traveler (last year 6/5/10) but tomorrow they may have chance to take something ,maybe 3 points?

With Eto out surely this will be Gudjohnsens chance. He's played well the games he's been involved and surely he will have to start. Won't he ?

It looks good on paper igor.

Two things to consider however. First one is that vecindario is giving away tickets in order to have maximum support in this one.
And also they were not taht bad in their last game against Albacete despite losing 3-2.

Personally I left that one alone but good luck if you take it

According to As Gudjonsen will be starting Bigkerman but considering Rijkaard's past selections, I would wait in order to confirm it.
Less than 1.5 for the awaywin seems too little for me however. Athletic is in a mess but San Mames is not the easiest place to travel (depite Atletico's goal bonanza last time out).

I'm also on Murcia for today, Igor, they're my only bet today in Spain. They've been impressive so far this season, with just the one defeat so far, a 3-2 loss away to Salamanca on the opening day. Since then they've only dropped points in one game, and that was a draw away to Cadiz, which isn't a bad result. Three players out for them for this match, but 2 of them haven't played this season and the other has only played for about half a match - Cocito, Martin and Acciari.

Alaves, compared to what's expected of them, have made a disappointing start to the season. 2 wins (home to Real Madrid B and away to Vecindario), two draws (home to Tenerife and Elche) and a defeat away to Malaga. They'll be without Santi Carpintero, a midfielder who's been ever-present this season in the league, and who played 27 times for them last season in the Primera. Toni Moral, who had been a doubt, has been passed fit.

Far from a foregone conclusion, this one, but I rate Murcia much higher than I rate Alaves, and with the home advantage for them too, I'm happy to take the 2.4 (best price from the bookies I've got an account with) on offer.

Murcia v Alaves @ 2.4 3pts

Was actually considering Castellon to get something from a Cadiz side which has looked lost since Lobos got injured - they've lost 2 and drawn 1 since then. However, Castellon have got injuries to 2 important players, top scorer Tabares and defender Aurelio Santos. The 1.67 or thereabouts is far too short though for a team playing the way Cadiz have been of late.

Shortlist for tomorrow so far (without having looked much at team news, etc.) is Real Sociedad (X2), Atletico Madrid (X2), Betis, Ponferradina and Elche, will look more into those later.

Don't you just love 90th minute winners

Good luck Kegman. Barça should win this easily enough, I reckon
