I'm also on Murcia for today, Igor, they're my only bet today in Spain. They've been impressive so far this season, with just the one defeat so far, a 3-2 loss away to Salamanca on the opening day. Since then they've only dropped points in one game, and that was a draw away to Cadiz, which isn't a bad result. Three players out for them for this match, but 2 of them haven't played this season and the other has only played for about half a match - Cocito, Martin and Acciari.
Alaves, compared to what's expected of them, have made a disappointing start to the season. 2 wins (home to Real Madrid B and away to Vecindario), two draws (home to Tenerife and Elche) and a defeat away to Malaga. They'll be without Santi Carpintero, a midfielder who's been ever-present this season in the league, and who played 27 times for them last season in the Primera. Toni Moral, who had been a doubt, has been passed fit.
Far from a foregone conclusion, this one, but I rate Murcia much higher than I rate Alaves, and with the home advantage for them too, I'm happy to take the 2.4 (best price from the bookies I've got an account with) on offer.
Murcia v Alaves @ 2.4 3pts
Was actually considering Castellon to get something from a Cadiz side which has looked lost since Lobos got injured - they've lost 2 and drawn 1 since then. However, Castellon have got injuries to 2 important players, top scorer Tabares and defender Aurelio Santos. The 1.67 or thereabouts is far too short though for a team playing the way Cadiz have been of late.
Shortlist for tomorrow so far (without having looked much at team news, etc.) is Real Sociedad (X2), Atletico Madrid (X2), Betis, Ponferradina and Elche, will look more into those later.
