Welcome kennytan

I like to look at the head to heads and looking at this last 3 games have all finished draws.

Both have been beaten by Amiens 3-1 but on current form Le HArve look to have a squeek cause they have beaten Cretail and Tours where as both these teams have beaten Istres. Only thing concerning me is Le Harve struggle to keep a clean sheet.

15/8 available from Lads.

Re: French Football 13th-16th October

The bet of the day is Reims for me..

They have % 100 home record,5 in 5,Brest,Metz,Montpellier,Amiens and Guingamp..And in France Liga Cup they win Caen and Clermont in their home..Reims take a points last week on Berrichone away..Defender Burle is susp. and striker Feret(didnt play in last 3 week) is inj..

Tours is the poorest away team and they lose all away,if Tours play with full squad can they take a point in Reims? I think no! and today they have 3 susp. players and some inj players.Doukantie,Tokene,Collet and some inj players...

Reims win...10/10

Reims -1AH..is too 10/10 for me and have big price..

Reims -1EH..is riskly but possible..

GL...

Thanks Van Basten Had read Tours had some suspended players, and have been trying for the last 20 minutes without much luck to find out who exactly. Three important players too, by the looks of it - Collet (striker) is ever-present, Doukantie (midfield) has only missed one game and Tokene (defender) has only missed 2 games. Where did you find those suspended players, by the way? I've been on the Reims website (very good for stuff about Reims, but not much in terms of the opposition), the Tours website (which appears to have literally nothing on it ), L'Equipe and the LFP website, and couldn't find anything on any of them.

Anyway, fully agree with you on Reims. As you say, it's a home team with a 100% winning record against an away team with a 100% losing record. Feret and Burle both missing, which did slightly concern me at first, until I checked back and saw that they both missed Reims' last-but-one home game, a 3-1 win in the Cup over Clermont (a division below, but Tours have just come from that division, and on current form may well be heading back there). Don't like to read too much into the cup, but it's enough to put my mind at rest in that they're capable of winning comfortably as favourites, even without those players.

There should also be a large crowd for tonight's game, as Reims have a cup game coming up in 11 or 12 days time at home to Monaco. As a result they're offering a ticket promotion, where anyone that buys a ticket for tonight's game is entitled to buy a ticket for the Monaco game. Presumably that will bring in quite a few people who otherwise wouldn't have bothered turning up tonight.

I'm with you on Reims then, Van Basten, although think I'll just play it safe and go with the outright. Think the -1.5 would be very risky, in recent weeks Tours have only lost by 1 goal away to Caen and Grenoble, 2 of the top 3 home sides in the division (with Reims obviously being the other), so they seem capable of keeping things fairly tight.

Reims v Tours @ 1.55 8pts for me, good luck

Edit - And for those who speak French, live commentary on the Reims website tonight http://www.stade-de-reims.com/index.php?p=accueil

Re: French Football 13th-16th October

Thanks Van Basten. Can't see anything on that site either though with regard to players suspended. Been on the website of the FFF too, and can't find anything there either. Is there anywhere at all that gives a list of the suspended players for coming games in France?

From what I can make out on the Tours forum, Collet and Tokene seem to be suspended, but not Doukantie, he's injured though so will be missing regardless. Is there a 3rd Tours player suspended, anyone know?

Re: French Football 13th-16th October

That forum was the one I'd been on where I saw about Collet and Tokene.

Cheers for that link to a page on the Tours website - I'd been going to the homepage for that site, and there's nothing on there. A bit of text that says Plan du site, but nothing to actually click on to take you anywhere. Strange . Anyway, I'll just change my bookmark to go straight to the news page instead.

Re: French Football 13th-16th October

After using a translating tool it seems that this Tokene isn't the fans favourite anyhow.

One of the guys thinks a 0-0 would be a great result for Tours.

The Reims manager from what i could make out has said that he thinks Tours will come and play a defensive game and that the crowd have to be patient but the main thing he sounded very confident.

I may well be on as well if I remember.

Whats the best price anybody between Ladbrokes, Sky Bet or Stan james ?
