Trabzonspor - Erciyesspor

Erciyesspor Coach Mustafa Ugur who was in charge 3 years resigned after some poor results. Club immediately appointed Werner Lorant before the international matches. Turkish football followers know him very well and he is famous with boring defensive tactics. He was working for Sivasspor last season and some statistics will help me to explain the mentality better. He worked full season but I won't take last 10 weeks. Because if a team relaxes and becomes safe from relegation it will be a big demotivation factor in Turkish football.

Btw, here are the results. Sivasspor scored 18 goals at 24 matches and conceded 28. 7 of 24 matches finished with 0-0 exact score. Sivasspor couldn't score a single goal at 7 of 12 away matches.

This is Werner Lorant's first match and to gain some confidence I think he will prefer an extremely defensive formation. At the other side Trabzonspor coach Ziya Dogan is a well performer of defensive football too. Yes results don't show this but individiual defensive mistakes caused Trabzonspor to concede goals. I know that all the team worked on defensive organizations at this 2 week's period.

Denizlispor-Rizespor

Home team is suffering. Selahattin , Erman , Yusuf (C) are injured and they won't be able to play against Rizespor for certain. Also Bayram has left the club because of financial problems and İbrahim Ege is suspended. They all are the key players for Denizlispor especially Yusuf can be considered as a half of the team. On the other hand; Rizespor are full squad and they are eager to win their first away match.
I am on Rizespor side for this weekend.

Thanks seyduna for the news. I didn't see before but now I checked. All of them are true and also I want to give an additional info. Slovakian center back Kratochvil is out too. Reason is not clear but according to news; he refused to come after the international match.

As seyduna said these absentes are very important.

Yusuf : everything of team, big blow
Selahattin : best striker
Kratochvil : solid defender and organizator of defence
İbrahim Ege : important midfielder
Erman : regular center back

Rizespor is in uptrend under new coach Saffet Susic and he generally prefers attacking mentality. Odds are good and definitely worth to try.
