Re: MLS Playoffs 21st-22nd October
Just some words for tonight.
Chicago v New England
Two sides going in different directions.
Chicago's lack of consistency could really hurt their chances of advancing here. How they can go one week getting hammered 4-1 at home to Columbus then go on to beat DC 3-2 the week after is beyond me. Possibly some lack of motivation maybe.
They have a side which has a great attacking threat. Great skill and width from guys like Armas and Mapp and then strikers that are capable of putting the ball away.
No real injury worries but the lack of consistency sways it in NE's direction.
NE on the other hand have come into a hot streak at just the right moment of the season.
Unbeaten in 7 games with some cracking results. What is even more impressive is this has been achieved with them missing some big players for them in recent weeks in Joseph and Noonan.
Both quality players and both will be returning to bolster the NE line up.
Head to heads in the favour of NE with them losing only once in their last 4 games in Chicago.
This wil be a good game with bad blood between both sides due to past experiences between them.
NE have the game to win this as they will approach it defensively to hit on the counter attack. In Dempsey, Noonan and Twellman they have a trio which will be very capable of scoring today.
Again like Dallas last night its best to go with the away but with the cover of the level ball handicap or draw no bet as a draw is a very probable result.
NE +0 Asian handicap @ 2.28 (4/10)
