Haha, that's a good one.
Don't think I can make it at all.

I am still a newbie in soccer.
Was really impressed with RC last week's pick, which I missed!!!

Anyway, I will try to write something, which I think NO ONE will be bothered to read.

Just wondering is that because you worked out the percentage of Barcelona winning and the odds don't justify the bet or you just looked and thought I don't fancy betting on red hot favs?
I just think that these kind of odds shouldn't exist in Primera

Spanish thread seems to be a bit bare without RC's superb previews imo. RC this shows how important you have been to this area, hahha.

Re: Spanish Leagues: 9th - 10th Dec

Hmmm after my analysis:
Pick Draw for 10 Dec 16:00 Gimnastic v Levante

Guess it should be a DRAW game.

Any comments?

Re: Spanish Leagues: 9th - 10th Dec

Without Munitis and Zigic, it will be very hard for Racing Santander to score. I think they will focus on defence and would be happy with draw.
Zaragoza will try to win this one, but they wouldn't be to sad with draw. I think best bet on this match is definitely UNDER 2.5 @1.75 ( Betfair) and maybe to try Zaragoza AH on level ball @1.80 ( Interwetten)
expected results: FT 0:0 , FT 0:1

I also notice that great odd on Real Madrid @3.30 ( Betfair) and that's something that I would gladly take. Sevilla is good side, but in their last match they show what is difference between big and small club, when they played away against Espanol , had HT 0:1 and then in second half they conceded 2 goals and lost 2:1 (it could be 5:1, but Espanol attackers were not efficient enough)
They are not big enough to stay on top too long and I think that their fall starts today, when big Real comes to Sevilla for 3 points.
expected results: FT 1:2 , FT 1:3

Third game that I think should be home win is Atletico Madrid @1.92 ( Betfair), when they host Espanol, side that beat Sevilla 7 days ago. If you ask me, Atletico is much better side, have quality, but they don't have enough scoring power (main reason is because Fernando Torres doesn't play too good this season). Espanol had great game against Sevilla and I think that they will not be capable to play again that good and their old players and lack of quality will be not enough today for Atletico in Madrid.
expected results: FT 1:0 or 2:0

Re: Spanish Leagues: 9th - 10th Dec

Real Madrid B- Salamanca
I`m going to follow RC with Real B,too much players is missing for Salamanca and with players that did`t play so far in the difence this could be good chance for home team...
Real B @2.7...4 pts

Real Murcia-Ponferradina
odds for home win are low but after 2 loses at home it`s time for home win,Ponferradina is very week away team 0-2-5,they score just 3 goals so far....
Murcia@1.65....6 pts

Cádiz-Valladolid

Big derby in secunda...
Cadiz was having big problems with injures and it`s look like they are starting to play much better under new coach, last round they crash Xerez 4-1...
Valladollid is playing very good and they menage to go top of the table.
They have 5 wins in a row in away games
I`m going with Cadiz in this game, they could sneak 1 or 2 goals and I would hope to hold on they are having best difence at home only 4 goals in the net in 7 games
Cadiz@2.7.....2 pts

Tenerife-Elche
Tenerife is with new coach this week after very bad result that was expected...
They are heaving big problems with scoring goals-worst in the league just 11 in 15 games ,at home they score just 6 in 7 games...
Elche has improved lately and menage to go up in the table after 3 consecutive wins for this game they have some missings:Mario Gómez,Rubén Suárez and Alberto Ruiz-injured,
i think that this time points it`s going to stay in Tenerife...
Tenerife@2.3......4 pts

From primera ……
Santander v Real Zaragoza
Odds for Zaragoza is going down and that`s normal with those missing in attack for Santander
H2H:
*Zaragoza love to play in Santander, they lost just 2 times..
Home:2-1-5
Overall:2-3-10

Gimnastic-Levante
Skynny this could be draw but ...
Last year both teams was playing in secunda and Gimnastic was very good home team in that league so i like the home team in this match
h2h:1:0 , 1:0
Maybe again 1:0 ?

Osasuna-Mallorca
I like Mallorca in this game …
Osasuna won last 2 games and now they are big favorites?
Odds for home win are crazy below evens for Osasuna…..
Mallorca starts to score goals, 5 in last 2 games ,before that they score just 6 in 11 games,so I think if they score again they could take something from this game….
H2H:
Mallorca is having very bad H2h they never won in Osasuna just 3 draw in 6 games
5/6 games war under 2,5 goals…

Celta Vigo – Villarreal
Impressive H2h for Selta:they won in all 6 games at home against Villarreal…

Deporivo at 6 .00 is too big..
Deportivo is good team and they could take advantage of all of those missing for Valencia….

Odds for Bilbao is going down and I don`t see any reason for that….

Re: Spanish Leagues: 9th - 10th Dec

Atl.Bilbao - Huelva 2 @ 3.30 with unibet

Bilbao is currently number 18. Has only 0-2-4 at home, and thats not normal. Has always been a club that was strong at home. The only points can against Sociedad and Santander. Bilbao has 1 win this year, and thats was away against poor Gimnastic. Has lost the last 3 games against good teams.(Real M, Espanyol and Sevilla). This will be the first homegame for the new coach Mane after taking over Bilbao. Has some missings for todays game: topscorer Aritz Aduriz and Ander Murillo is suspended. Captain Pablo Orbaiz, 1.goalkeeper Inaki Lafuente, Ustaritz, Carlos Gurpegui and Tiko is injuryed.
Huelva is good form, won 4 of the last 5 games. The only lost was away against Santander, a game they were leading 2-1, before they got a red card and lost 3-4. Are currently number 6 on the tabel. Has won 3 of 6 awaygames (against Villarreal, Celta and Sociedad). Some missings for Huelva too, but not very important; Juanma, Mario and Cheli is injuryed.
Huelva won 3-2 in 2003 against Bilbao away.
Think Huelva is worth a try to odds around 3.30.

Don't know what gives you that impression, Skinny. All we ask is that people give their opinions, that's all. The whole point of the forum is for people to share ideas.

Get the impression some people think other people's lives revolve around TDP Some weeks I can't get on here to write anything, simple as that. I only had one bet in Spain this weekend, and I posted that in here. Meanwhile Igor and Jetpilot do their usual excellent work in here, while we've got great contributions too from E_S and Texonja, and no-one says a word of thanks, which seems a very big shame to me

Re: Spanish Leagues: 9th - 10th Dec

Just got back home and saw the good news Zaragoza 2-0Zaragoza was the only bet in Spanish league for the weekend and they triumph, it was just a bet against Racing Sant than anything else based on the info available in here.

Re: Spanish Leagues: 9th - 10th Dec

Right, as it's only one game, no point starting its own thread, might as well just tack it on the end of this thread. Spanish cup tomorrow, postponed from a few weeks ago. Levante lead from the first leg, 1-0 if I remember rightly.

Levante v Atletico Madrid 2.70 3.20 2.30

Odds from Bet365

Edit - OK, scrap that, Igor's just started a thread for it, so post any thoughts in there, not here
