Re: French Leagues: 8th - 10th Dec

A few I could be interested in this weekend. Possibly Libourne and Guingamp. Don't think you'll see that big a price on Metz at home often this season. H2H very good for them too, Strasbourg have managed just 2 draws in their last 11 visits to Metz. Niort v Le Havre looks a bit drawish. Niort 2-5-1 at home, Le Havre 2-5-1 away. 4 of their last 5 meetings in Niort have been draws with the other game being a 6-1 win for Niort 2 seasons ago).

Not going to be around this weekend though, so not sure whether I'll actually get as far as backing any of those.

Re: French Leagues: 8th - 10th Dec

Metz -vs- Strasbourg

the local derby match.
metz is the league leader with 43 pts record 13-4-1 , 6 pts clear from the second caen.
they have great home record 8-0-0 . gf 15 ga only 3.
strasbourg is the third, the promotion place only 2 pts from the fourth dijon. if they lose tonight , may be dijon can be replaced cos dijon have home match with grenoble.

metz have 2 dub players and only one long time injured.
strasbourg have 1 suspended important defender bellaid , and 3 injured not important.

more info here http://forum.french-football.com/viewtopic.php?id=427

metz have good h2h home record with strasbourg 3wins in last 4.

and i trust in the defense of metz conceded only 8 in 18 matches.

back the home side -.25@.76
correct score 1-0 @6.5

good luck

Re: French Leagues: 8th - 10th Dec

Le Championnat

:

20:00 Lorient – Sedan @ [1.80] Interwetten ---> 6/10

Sedan is one of the worst guests in French league with only 2 points gaining outside their residence. I don't rate them as a too serious treath but still they can do damage like they did against Nice two rounds ago while later on they were not able to confirm this point at home against Troyes despite being dominating team on the field. I do believe they could gain few more points by now if they won't have those long term injury woes with Noro, Sartre, Ouadah, Yahia, Cisse and Moigne. Those are all quality players and with them picture could be different. Besides those players they have also two suspended: Amalfitano and Marin.

Lorient made good run of results which ended against Sochaux at home. Than they were having hard task at St.Etienne and outcome was expected. Now they will have a little easier match but with bigger importance factor. Sedan is a relegation candidate so gaining points against such a teams is very important for Lorient and I believe they are able to. Ciani and Ewolo (good news) are coming back and should be re-establish in first lineup, also Me Bodji is coming back. Lorient is braveheart team with some good players with individual qualities. Lorient were already in similar situation (even worse) this season and were able to get out of troubles. Simply they have character. I expect same scenario. Sedan is not such a bad team but with all those injuries I do expect Lorient to prevail.

Re: French Leagues: 8th - 10th Dec

Bordeaux - Rennes
A lot of talks have been already made for tis match, so heres my opinion, too. Expectedly or not, Bordeaux won in CL midweek match, and that certainly can be a sign of something different. Bordeaux have won most of the matches at home, and the points from this season are mainly at the matches played on thier field. The same goes for Rennes - meaning Rennes have only 1 goal scored away from home. It is alreadu mentioned how much the h2h is in Bordeaux's favour. I expext this to continue in this match, but i dont have courage enough to play Bordeaux on AH, cause they havent shown the ability to win with more than 1 goal difference too many times this season, so odds about 1.80 is enough for home win on this match.
Bordeaux to win at 1.80 4/10 at BET365

Good Luck...

Re: French Leagues: 8th - 10th Dec

Lorient - Sedan
Couple fo bookies are offering 1,83 for the home win which is apsolutely acceptable for me. Sedan has proven as the biggest relegation material so far, and has lowest chances of saving this season. They have nly 1 win so far, and this is probably one of their last trains to catch. However i dont fancy them at all, and Lorient is my call. They are safe so far, in midtable playing average 3-1-3 at home. Both teams are having some injury problems, however Lorient looks way more consistent here. The pressure is definitely on Sedan, but only when i remember on last week match against Troyes my confidence on this bet is raising H2H is on Sedan's side yet that wont change my mind.

Lorient to win at 1.83 4/10 at G'bookers

Good Luck...

Re: French Leagues: 8th - 10th Dec

Marseille - Monaco
2.00 on Marseille at NordicBet is way too tempting for me. Maybe Monaco finally will start gathering points as it was expected, and maybe this is one of the trickiest games to bet on, but Marseille need proving also. Marseille without Ribery, but the beast is returning. Cisse after having broken leg 2 times is returning again to the pitches. That is a move for respect.(+ Materazzi aint playing for Monaco ) Gerrard and Warmuz are still n the injury list for Monaco. h2h is quite balanced if we look last couple of years matches. Maybe over is good option here, too or both teams to score - but my main bet is 3 units on the home win.

Marseille to win at 2.00 at NordicBet 3/10

Good Luck...
