Ankaragucu-Fenerbahce

The match will be played in Izmir due to Ankaragucu's suspension. Fenerbahce have a great deal of fans in Izmir. Ankaragucu are not very effective on the road. Fenerbahce have been in form. So, I don't think Ankaragucu will be able to get even a point from FB. I took Fenerbahce (-1) 2.06 @ Betfair. It is now 1.93.

Re: Turkish Superliga: 8th - 10th Dec

I have a terrible record at this season's Turkish league but I'll try to give some picks again for today's matches.

I fancy Sivasspor against bottom side Erciyesspor. Away team has strong counter attack abilities. And they improved this after Bulent Uygun took the control 4 weeks ago. He was the man always in club and was working at a position like a sportive director for long time. Actually tactics are simple but absolutely effective. Balili is generally playing as a lone striker and midfielders send long bals to take benefit from his pace. After they won against Besiktas and Trabzon Bulent Uygun used same tactic at Ankaragucu home match last week. Sivasspor created numerous goal chances.

Now Erciyesspor is in must win situation. Sivasspors will be relaxed and they will do the thing they know best: Defend and counter..

Home team has two absentes. Long term injured central defender Bouazizi and rigth back Ozgur will be out. Sivasspor have no fresh injury news and I think Hakki and Servet who are playing as pair central defenders they have one of the best defence in league.

Re: Turkish Superliga: 8th - 10th Dec

Turkey footie ain't my strongest field, but i'm a little interested in the game between Trabzonspor - Ankaraspor.
Trabzonspor was one of the better clubs in Turkey not long ago, but i don't know what happend to them latly. This year they are number 16 of 18 clubs and are on relegation place at the moment. They may have some injurys, but i dont know. Have been in a terribel form, 0-1-5 on last 6 games, and has 3 straight homegames without a win.
Today Ankaraspor will visit Trabzonspor. Ankaraspor is in good form, 2-4-0. And has only lost 1 game after 16 rounds. Only lost was away against Genclerbirligi (number 7). Ankaraspor has played 11 draws and are that club with most draws. Played well away with 2-4-1 and only conceeded 7 goals.
In 2005 Ankaraspor visit Trabzonspor twice and made 2-2 and a 3-2 win.
The game will be played behind closed doors, so i think thats positive for Ankaraspor.
There is a big chance for draw here, but bet365 offers 4.50 for good going Ankaraspor and that should be worth a try.
Any turksih friends that has any info why i shouldn't back Ankaraspor??

There's no reason that you shouldn't back Ankaraspor E_S. Ankaraspor have a good squad, play good football and know well not to lose. Trabzonspor are waiting for the winter break desperately to fix things. They are living their worst season in history. I already took Ankaraspor + 1/2.

Here are the team's last seven games:

20/10/2006 Gençlerbirligi 3 - 0 Trabzonspor
30/10/2006 Trabzonspor 0 - 1 Çaykur Rizespor
04/11/2006 Sakaryaspor 1 - 0 Trabzonspor
12/11/2006 Trabzonspor 0 - 0 Antalyaspor
19/11/2006 Sivasspor 1 - 0 Trabzonspor
26/11/2006 Trabzonspor 1 - 2 Fenerbahçe
01/12/2006 Bursaspor 2 - 1 Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor 4-4-8 (17-21) (so far this season)

21/10/2006 Bursaspor 0 - 0 Ankaraspor
29/10/2006 Konyaspor 2 - 2 Ankaraspor
04/11/2006 Ankaraspor 1 - 1 Kayserispor
12/11/2006 Vestel Manisa 1 - 3 Ankaraspor
19/11/2006 Ankaraspor 2 - 0 Gaziantepspor
25/11/2006 Denizlispor 1 - 1 Ankaraspor
02/12/2006 Ankaraspor 0 - 0 Besiktas

Ankaraspor 4-11-1 (21-15) (so far this season)

FT Trabzonspor 3 - 0 Ankaraspor

I should have known. I haven't won a cent thanks to Trabzonspor this season. Whenever I backed them they couldn't win, whenever I layed them they won. "See you in another life Trabzonspor".

Still think it was worth a try on Ankaraspor. But you can never know when the wind is changing... Dont think i will bet in games including Trabzonspor for a while...
