Re: Spanish Cup: 9/10/11th Jan

Welcome to TDP, Foppa Not really much news around on that one at the moment, I'm afraid, all I can see is that it looks like Getafe's new signing Verpakovskis may play from the start, nothing else about on AS/Marca/official sites.

Re: Spanish Cup: 9/10/11th Jan

Osasuna squad for tonight:

Ricardo, Elía, Javier Flaño, Cuéllar, Miguel Flaño, Josetxo, Monreal, David López, Nekounam, Héctor Font, Raúl García, Muñoz, Puñal, Juanlu, Webó and Romeo

No Milosevic or Soldado, then Mind you, I guess the plan from their point of view is to just try to nick this one 1-0. Even if they go 2-0 down, there'd not necessarily be any need for them to go chasing the game, knowing they've got the home leg coming up.

who else is missing from their squad?
do you think that with the absence players of athletico, osasuna not to lose is a good option?

Osasuna are listed at +0.5 in the Asian Handicaps, in which case you win if the game ends in a draw.

Sorry for the late odds, for those in need of a quick comparision of prices. Time stated are EST

Re: Spanish Cup: 9/10/11th Jan

Villarreal squad:

Barbosa, Viera; Josemi, Q. Álvarez, Fuentes, Cygan, José Enrique and Arruabarrena; Bruno, Somoza, Tacchinardi, Senna, Marcos García and Matías Fernández; Forlán, José Mari and Guille Franco

No Riquelme there for them again.

Valladolid squad:

Alberto, Jacobo, Javier Baraja, García Calvo, Gonzalo Vicente, Óscar Sánchez, Iván Hernández, Rafa, Mario Suárez, Borja, Chema, Víctor, Álvaro Antón, Asier, Llorente and Losada

Not a full-strength side there from Valladolid, it has to be said. Regular first teamers Iñaki Bea, Pedro Lopez, Alvaro Rubio and Sisi are all missing. They've also confirmed second choice keeper Jacobo will start this game.

Not quite as confident now as I was previously on Valladolid, but the bet has already been placed, and I still reckon it stands a reasonable chance. Villarreal to me, from what I've seen of them this season (including Sunday's game v Valencia), have looked like a very average side. Valladolid are 9-4-0 for their last 13 games, their home form in that run is 6-1-0 (the draw being against an in-form Almeria), and in those 13 games they've only failed to score once, away to Cadiz (who've only conceded 4 goals in 9 home games).

Valladolid (DNB) v Valencia @ 2.025 4pts (would've gone with lower stakes had I been placing this bet today, but it's been on since yesterday)
