Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

Is it me or are we seeing a gap open up in Bundesliga 2 between the contenders and the also-rans?
Bochum, 1860, Cottbus, Braunschweig and possibly Dresden. (What happened to Aachen?)

TSV Eintracht Braunschweig - Kickers Offenbach KO 1730
Offenbach have played 2 out of the top 5 teams in this league:
Dynamo Dresden - Offenbach 4 - 1
Offenbach - 1860 Munchen 2 - 5
Bit of a mis-match in those two games. I'm still lacking some team news but are we due another today?
Braunschweig 1,84

VfL Bochum - 1.FC Dynamo Dresden 5,03
A team that goes to 1860 Munchen and takes all 3 points shouldn't be this price, Gerry?

Jahn Regensburg fired the coach

Regensburg fired Mario Basler. The Ex-Nationalplayer of Germany coached the team since 2004 and would climbe up this season into the second league.
But at the moment Regensburg have only 3 points in the Regional league south.

Nurnberg without Marek Mintal

The bavarian Club FC Nurnberg (tonight at home versus Schalke 04) missed their goal getter Marek Mintal for 2 months. He pulled his ligaments in the right feed.

Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

Bayern will without Michael Ballack, Claudio Pizarro and Roque Santa Cruz .Frankfurt played good with Hamburg last macth.and Bayern won last match but they had poor performance. The odds crazy.
I will try Frankfurt to win.

Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

probably line up:

Eintracht Frankfurt: Nikolov - Rehmer, Chris, Vasoski – Lexa, Preuß, Jones, Spycher - Meier, Köhler - Amanatidis

FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Ismael, Lucio, Lizarazu - Salihamidzic, Demichelis, Zé Roberto, Scholl - Guerrero, Makaay
Reserve: Dreher (goalkeeper), Jeremies, Deisler, Schweinsteiger, Karimi, Fink, Mauersberger

Balance: 16-13-6 by bayern with 61:42 goals

The bayern squad isn´t bad tonight IMO. A victory of Munich is surer IMO helalpara

Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

Gladbach - Bremen

I don´t understand the odds for Bremen? Bremen aren´t bad.OK, away theyre not the best, but Gladbach isn´t a strength Team at the moment.
Gladbach missed: Jorg Boehme,Christian Ziege,Wesley Sonck, Bernd Thijs and the new player Kasper Bögelund. For Bremen the defender Petri Pasanen is questionable, but for the finish man will play the new danish man Leon Andreasen.Missed are the both forwards Ümit Davala and Nelson Valdez.

Line Up: 26 Keller - 4 Helveg, 18 Fukal, 13 Zé Antonio, 3 Daems - 21 Oude Kamphuis - 14 El Fakiri, 8 Lisztes, 5 Jansen - 15 Kahe, 27 Neuville Coach: Köppel

Reserve: 1 Kampa (Goalkeeper), 31 Melka (Tor), 7 Strasser, 10 Elber, 19 Polanski, 22 Kirch, 24 Kluge, 25 Sverkos, 29 Broich, 33 Compper, 35 Kastrati

Teamnews: The old Bremer Liztes are for Gladbach now. He will be in the starter team for Gladbach, and I´m sure that Lisztes are very happy to play against Bremen.

Line up: 1 Reinke - 15 Owomoyela, 16 L. Andreasen, 4 Naldo, 27 C. Schulz - 6 Baumann - 22 Frings, 24 Borowski - 10 Micoud - 11 Klose, 17 Klasnic - Coach: Schaaf

Reserve: 33 Vander (Tor), 2 Fahrenhorst, 7 Vranjes, 14 Hunt, 19 Lagerblom, 20 D. Jensen, 23 van Damme

Teamnews: Versus Dortmund the Bremer had a great performance! Andreasen the new defender was the best player on the matchfield IMO.

The last 3 home matches of Gladbach versus Bremen were victories for the home teams. But with that squad...

My Punt:
Bremen have the better squad and the better single players. Gladbach pladey good but not better than Bremen.

Bremen victory risk or X2 for sure

Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

I think Bayern should be able to win this one all right, they didnt perform well againts Hannover cos well Magath knows that his team will be playing a lot of matches, so no point in pressuring to get great super results when 1 goal is enough to get 3 points. I watched the match againts Hannover(Gotta love those guys at the cable tv company for showing Bundesliga this season), and I feel that Bayern didnt try really hard to get a second goal. IMO Bayern should get the win here.

The match that might produce an upset would be the Gladbach-Bremen match. Bremen didnt really play spectacularly againts Dortmund, Odonkor created so much trouble at the right flank with his speed. Not to mention Bremen has one eye on the weekend match againts Leverkusen. Gladbach may be bad, but somehow they can get results againts Bremen. Looks like a draw game to me.

Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

I saw Bremen on Saturday and really can't see past them tonight. The only thing that stops me at the moment is Gladbach's home record which is terrific by anybody's standards but especially so in the case of an otherwise very ordinary side. Best to follow at the exchange, perhaps.

Frankfurt-Bayern live here on the mountain as well as Grimsby-Tottenham on the other channel.
What to choose.

Re: German Football on Tue/Wed 20/21th September

Short Cuts
Quote:
Eintracht Frankfurt - FC Bayern Munich 5,80 4,00 1,45
I posted before. IMO the munichs will win versus the climber from Frankfurt.
The squad is the best in the whole Bundesliga.Which team can hold a Schweinsteiger in reserve?

My Punt: Bayern victory

Quote:
Hannover 96 - VfL Wolfsburg 2,20 3,30 2,90
The lower saxonia Derby. Both teams are in the midfield without a great aye catcher. Hanke (wolfsburg) is the best forward in this match.DÁllessandro and the other gauchos only play good,if they want to play good and thats the matter of these inconsitant team in Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg had a bad performance last round in Nurnberg (without Mintal), Hannover aren´t good in the offence.

My Punt: Hannover or draw / Under

Quote:
Borussia Dortmund - Arminia Bielefeld 1,50 3,90 5,60
Dortmund have the first victory versus Colonge 2 rounds before. In the last round they had a tight fight versus Bremen at home, but they lost 2-3.
This round the czech forward giant Jan Koller are back in the front. Also Smolarek is available. He was excellent versus Bremen, he shoot both goals.

My Punt: over
