Dont realy know mate, they did beat Colo at home 3-1 though..this is the S. American version of the Chamnpions league, so there must be more money in it for the club for each victory, prestige, pride etc.
Same thing with River plate, they wont open their legs and Caracas allready gone through..

27 Apr 01:15 Boca Juniors v Bolivar 1.10 6.50 15.00
Quote:
The match against Bolívar is only a day away, an encounter in which Boca will bet on its chance to stay in the Libertadores competition.
Goalkeeper Mauricio Caranta and coach Miguel Angel Russo spoke with the press regarding the clash which will be fought out on Thursday in the Bombonera.
"We aren’t overconfident and we know we can’t afford to make any mistakes in such an important game. We are aware of our potential, that we can attain our objective, but it’s never good to underestimate anybody because on the field it’s eleven against eleven” Caranta said after Tuesday’s practice.
"Chance threw us into a very difficult group in the round robin stage of the Libertadores de América Cup, with games that had to be played at great altitudes. I think that none of the teams in our group has a large edge on any other one in terms of the difference in goals scored” the goalie added, and continued his comments by saying that “Boca has to show on the field that it is anxious to get on to the next stage”.
"On Thursday it will be seen whether we can attain our objective. I think we have a team that can qualify. We can’t afford to make mistakes and we have to go out to get the result we need. We shouldn’t speculate, but play the way we know we can play” Caranta concluded.
In turn, Russo considered that his team “has to face the game with great poise, knowing that haste can lead us to make mistakes”.
"The chances are with us and the result is in our hands alone, but no game is decided in advance. Do we have to score three goals? Yes, we know this, but I have great respect for our rival. I respect Bolívar a lot and Boca will play, like it always does, in Boca’s way” the coach added.
Russo concluded by saying that he was “satisfied with the performance level shown by the team up to now”, although he was aware that “it always has to improve because all rivals will put problems in our path which we’ll have to solve as we go along”.-

Toluca and Cienciano lead the standings of the group with 9 points each, and will play each other in Mexico for the group’s top position. Boca is second with 7 points.
Should the leaders draw their game, Boca will have to win its own commitment with a three-goal difference in order to qualify. Should one of the two leaders score a victory, Boca would qualify with a scant one-goal difference in its favor.
Kickoff in the Bombonera will be at 9.15 pm, Paraguayan Ricardo Grance will referee and Fox Sports will televise.
Miguel Angel Russo’s team will feature two changes in its line-up: Clemente Rodríguez comes in for Matías Silvestre and Jesús Dátolo for Neri Cardozo.-

Dátolo and Clemente will be in the line-up for the Cup
This Tuesday Boca’s squad carried out its second weekly practice, with its mind set on this Thursday’s decisive clash against Bolívar within the Libertadores Cup. Our team needs a minimum difference of three goals in order to qualify for the next stage of the Cup.
After the morning practice at Casa Amarilla, coach Miguel Angel Russo and defender Clemente Rodríguez –who will replace Silvestre- gave their views on the match against the Bolivians.
In turn Palermo, who last Sunday suffered a traumatism in his right isquiotibial, carried out special tasks cut out for him, although it is taken for granted that he will be fit to play on Thursday.
Russo will make two changes in relation to the line-up that on Sunday defeated Newell's in Rosario. Jesús Dátolo will go in for Neri Cardozo and Clemente Rodríguez for Matías Silvestre.
Boca will line up as follows: Caranta; Ibarra, Morel Rodríguez and Clemente Rodríguez; Ledesma, Banegas, Dátolo and Riquelme, Palacio and Palermo.
*Miguel Angel Russo:
”Haste may lead us to make mistakes”
"We have to face this game with great poise. Success is a possibility and its attainment depends on us, but no game is won beforehand”.
*Clemente Rodríguez:
“We try to do things well. One has to keep one’s cool and continue in this way. It’s very nice to be here. Boca had trouble with the away games within the Cup and has lost points. Now, Bolívar will have to play on our home ground”.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
I believe them, they cant rely on Toluca to beat Cienciano and in case of a draw, they have to win with a 3 goal difference - an achievable goal IMO..
Boca(-2,-2.5) 2 Pts.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Boca is big favorite(like Sao Paolo yesterday ) and they should win but for today i prefer to go with over3,5 becouse odds are slightly better then the handicap(i wouldn`t never bet on so big handicap , ok maybe only if Boca was playing against a team from Andorra ) and i think it’s much safer option ,Bolivar are class below bit i have a feeling that they could score today......

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Boca - Bolivar
ill give a small punt on the overs in case Bolivar trys to get smart
over 3.5 1 pt
Toluca - Cienciano
Both these teams deserve to go through TBH, but one of them will probably wont, so the pressure is on Cienciano and they have to get a result, as even a draw may not be enough to see them through.. Toluca are definitely the favorites tonight IMO but they have "slipped-up" before, losing at home to Bolivar of all teams..
So if they do win its hard to see them do it with more than a goal difference so value is on Cienciano(1,1.5) 3 pts ..
Toluca can wait for them and try to hit Cienciano on the break, which could mean a low scoring affair but most of their games had 3 goals inem so will wait for suggestions..
Cheers and best of luck.

No, Toluca is not going to be in the next stage if they draw and Boca won with 3+ goal difference becouse Cienciano is having much better goal difference
1.Cienciano..3-0-2...12:6
2.Toluca......3-0-2....7:6
3.Boca.........2-1-2...4:5
4.Bolivar......1-1-3....5:11
