Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Last week Romario now Buffon
Quote:
Mexico's Necaxa go for Juventus keeper Buffon
Mexico's Necaxa have declared their interest in Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon.
Backed by local television money, Necaxa sports director Alex Aguinaga revealed: "Buffon is an objective for us in sight of the next Copa Libertadores campaign. For the operation, there is Javier Perez Teuffer, Pedro Cota and Juan Garcia Malo - three leaders of the club - working on it.
"Currently he plays still in Serie B with Juve and he has not decided to leave. In case he did, we will be there. It's a complicated but not difficult operation."

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Deportes Tolima - Cucuta Deportivo
This is Columbian matchup and i fancy Cucuta in this match but maybe under is better bet.
Cucuta has to win if they want to go in the next stage but Tolima is having rock difence when they are playing in Libertadores
in Columbian championship it`s a difrent story....
Cucuta is 1st on the table with 27 pts
Overall:8-3-2...24 :13
Home : 5 -1-0...14:4
Away:3-2-2...10:9
Tolima is 12th with 14 pts
Overall:4-2-7...15:19
Home:2-2-2....8:7
Away:2-0-5....7:12
All 5 games for Tolima in Libertadores war under 1,5 probable and tomorrow low scoring game should be expected.
H2H
*Cucuta didn`t lost a game in last two seasons....
Home:0-2-0
Overall:0-3-3
River Plate - Colo Colo
Odds are not out for this match but if i can get @5.00+ for Colo Colo I’m going with them ....
Toluca - Cienciano
I realy don`t know for how long Cienciano is going to be overpriced ,this time too much...
Toluca@1.25 that`s a joke, right?
Both teams are having 9ts but Cienciano is on the top of the table becouse they are having better goal difference.
Toluca is big favorite but Cienciano are no mugs and they are more than capable of taking something from this game, they need one point from this game becouse they have superior goal difference and i can see defending all the time to achieve that .
I`m going with my favorite betting team from SA again ....
Cienciano@9.00....1pts
Cienciano+1@3.35...4 pts
Boca Juniors - Bolivar
Odds are saying everything easy win for Boca with plenty of goals in the net of Bolivar ,I’m going with over3,5 goals in this match.
Over3,5...5pts

Gremio and Boca attempt to avoid early exits
RIO DE JANEIRO, April 23 (Reuters) - Former champions Gremio and Boca Juniors need to win their last matches in group stage of the Libertadores Cup this week to avoid early exits.
Both teams, who have already seen their arch-rivals fall at the first hurdle, enter the final week of qualifying outside the top two places in their respective groups.
Internacional, Gremio's neighbours in the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre, failed to qualify from Group Four last week.
The defending champions were edged out by Nacional on goal difference despite beating the Uruguayans 1-0 on Thursday.
Boca's eternal rivals River Plate were astonishingly eliminated by Venezuela's Caracas FC in Group Six.
Gremio, who won the second of their two titles in 1995 under current Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, must beat Paraguay's Cerro Porteno at home on Tuesday to go through from Group Three.
Cerro, Deportes Tolima and Gremio each have seven points from five games, but Gremio trail on goal difference.
TWO YEARS
Colombian champions Cucuta are one point behind and visit compatriots Tolima the same evening.
Gremio coach Mano Menezes, who steered the team out of the second division in 2005 and to third place in the Brazilian championship last year, completed two years in the job on Saturday -- an eternity in the volatile world of Brazilian coaching.
His biggest problem has been in attack, with his side managing a paltry three goals in five outings.
Boca have also had trouble scoring in Group Seven and must beat eliminated Bolivar by two goals at home on Thursday to be certain of qualifying.
Boca have scored five goals in five games, all at home, have seven points and a goal difference of minus one.
They are two points behind Toluca of Mexico and Cienciano of Peru, who meet the same evening when the Peruvian visitors, who have the better goal difference, need a draw.
Toluca's goal difference of plus one means they could also qualify with a draw if Boca fail to win or beat Bolivar by only one goal.
The other two places will be decided on Wednesday when Group Two is completed.
Brazilian champions Sao Paulo, who have 10 points and lead on goal difference from Audax Italiano, need a draw at home to the Chilean outsiders to qualify.
Mexico's Necaxa, one point behind in third place, need a win at home against hapless Peruvian champions Alianza Lima, who have lost all five games so far.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Group 2
Audax Italiano might pay for their inability to win the important home game against Sao Paulo and have only a slim chance of getting through as Necaxa is more than capable to beat Alianza Lima at home.
Group 3
IMO Cucuta Deportivo can get something out of this and ill be on the AH when it comes out.
Gremio nothing special but should be able to win this by a single goal, though under might be the safer option..
Ill listen to you on Group 6 since its all over and its hard for me to tell howll it go..

Chilean Audax travel to Brazil to play against Sao Paulo
The Chilean soccer club Audax Italiano traveled Monday to Brazil to play its last game in Copa Libertadores' first phase, against Sao Paulo's club on Wednesday.
The Chilean soccer club coached by Raul Toro has 10 points in Group Two, the same as Sao Paulo. However Mexican Necaxa has nine points and will play at home against Alianza Lima which has not won any game in Copa Libertadores.
The only regular player absent in Audax Italiano is its captain Jorge Carrasco to be replaced Fernando Gutierrez, who will arrive with the other players at around midday to Brazil.
On Wednesday together with Sao Paulo and Audax, in Sao Paulo city, the game between Necaxa and Alianza Lima will be played in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Quote:
Champions' Cup Winner to be Determined This Week
The winner of the 2007 edition of the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup™, will be determined tomorrow evening (25 April) when Mexican clubs Pachuca CF and CD Guadalajara face each other for the CONCACAF crown in the second-leg of the two-game finale.
The first-leg of the “all-tricolor” final ended all square as the two sides played to a 2:2 tie at CD Guadalajara’s Estadio Jalisco on 18 April.
The decisive return-leg will take place at the Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca on 25 April, when the home team stage their first-ever Champions’ Cup Final.
CD Guadalajara were the winners of the inaugural Champions’ Cup in 1962, but have not won the CONCACAF crown since that year. Meanwhile, the last time Pachuca CF played for the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup™ title was in 2002, in Mexico City, when they defeated CA Monarcas Morelia (MEX) in the first “all-tricolor” final.
In addition to becoming the CONCACAF Champion, the winner will also have a chance to play as the CONCACAF representative against the world’s best teams in the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2007. The consolation for the Champions’ Cup runner-up is a place in the Copa Nissan Sudamericana later this year as one of three CONCACAF invitees to the South American club tournament.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Pachuca-Chivas
Pachuca
1.- Miguel Calero
14.- Marvin Cabrera
2.- Leobardo López
21.- Fausto Pinto
6.- Jaime Correa
8.- Gabriel Caballero
13.- Fernando Salazar
10.- Andrés Chitiva
7.- Damián Álvarez
9.- Luis Ángel Landín
19.- Christian Giménez
D.T. Enrique Meza
*Aquivaldo Mosquera-suspended
Chivas
23.- Luis Ernesto Michel
2.- Diego Martínez
3.- Francisco Javier Rodríguez
5.- Patricio Araujo
20.- Edgar Mejía
19.- Jonny Magallón
11.- Ramón Morales
7.- Gonzalo Pineda
1.- Adolfo Bautista
9.- Omar Bravo
10.- Alberto Medina
D.T. José Manuel de la Torre
In this contest the visitor goals have no advantage, so there’s no reason any team to defend the results from the first match.
Both teams rested some of their best players in Saturday’s games in Clausura.Again I’m going with Pachuca i think they are better team in the moment.Chivas will play attacking football today with 4-3-3 formation and Pachuca is scoring machine and that formation is going to be perfect for there`s style of playing.

Group 7
Igor i think the same story is going happen here and Cienciano will pay for their lose at home to Toluca as Boca will most likely win at home and Toluca have to win if they wigh to remain top of the table..
Unless Boca fail, Cienciano will play its last game though no AH/Over/Under lines for me as of yet..
Sao Paulo 8 pts
Sao Paulo(-1.5) 3 pts
Sao Paulo over 3 1 pt
Necaxa(-2) 2 pts
Colo(1.5,1) 2 pts
LDU 2 pts
and different multi-fold combinations in small betas
Thanks for comin' & best of luck.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
Sao Paulo-Audax Italiano
Sao Paolo is big favorite in this match, they are one of the best teams in SA but for me this is a big no bet, becouse i never bet on so low odds and second Sao Paolo don`t have to win becouse they have great goal difference also they suffered a humiliating defeat 4-1 from Sao Caetano in return game of the semifinal of championship.......
Sao Paulo: Rogerio Ceni - Ilsinho, Alex Silva, Miranda y Jadilson - Josué, Richarlyson, Souza y Hugo - Leandro y Aloísio.
DT: Muricy Ramalho.
Audax Italiano: Nicolas Peric - Boris Rieloff (Enzo Cabrera), Juan González, Fernando Gutiérrez (Jorge Carrasco) y Roberto
Cereceda - Carlos Garrido, Braulio Leal, Miguel Ángel Romero y Carlos Villanueva - Franco di Santo y Rodolfo Moya.
DT: Raúl Toro.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
LDU Quito - Caracas
Why the hell odds for Caracas are so high ,LDU is out of the competition this game is important only for Caracas .
LDU is in bad form they lost in the last round of the championship from Olmedo 1-3 reason why their fans demanded resignation of the trainer, Argentinean Edgardo Bauza, who could leave the stage in a vehicle of the local police.
Quote:
Caracas wants to be first, because, theoretically, it would face “an accessible” rival, extracted of the classified ones in the second seat of each group. Caracas remained from yesterday in the harbor city of Guayaquil to hours before the party, in the height of the 2,850 meters on the level of the sea in which it is located Quito.
For this encounter, Caracas will be able to have the four players who were suspended .
|
LDU Quito: Cristian Mora; Arlin Ayoví, Norberto Araujo, Jairo Campos; Enrique Vera, Alfonso Obregón, Pedro Larrea, Diego Calderón, Cristian Lara; Franklin Salas y Luis Miguel Escalada.
Director técnico: Edgardo Bauza.
Caracas FC: Javier Toyo; Leonel Vielma, Oswaldo Vizcarrondo, José Manuel Rey, Edder Pérez; Luis Vera, Jorge Rojas, César González, Alejandro Guerra; Iván Velázquez y Habinson Escobar.
Director técnico: Noel Sanvicente

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
River Plate-Colo Colo
The main newness in “the millionaire” equipment is the probable return like a starter Ariel 'Burrito' Ortega who will have an opportunity while he tries to recover of his addiction to the alcohol. Ortega only was between the starters in a friendly game against Racing, and since then he entered in three occasions like a substitute.
Colo Colo is in superb form they trashed O'Higgins 6-2 in last round of the championship and they are on the top of the table with seven pts advantage but they have important game next Sunday "el Classico" against Universitad de Chile .
Colo Colo, is missing five players through injury: David Henriquez, Miguel Riffo, Luis Mena, Alexis Sanchez, and Colombian Giovanni Hernandez.
Colo Colo@5.00 is huge price and I’m going with them i think there`s plenty of value in this pick ,River is shite in this moment ,Colo Colo is having problems too ,but this game is important only for them....
River: Juan Ojeda - Danilo Gerlo, Nelson Rivas, Federico Lussenhoff, Cristian Villagra - Diego Galván, René Lima, Oscar Ahumada, Rubens Sambueza - Ariel Ortega y Andrés Ríos.
DT: Daniel Passarella.
Colo Colo: Sebastián Cejas - Rodrigo Meléndez, Arturo Vidal, Gonzalo Jara - Moisés Villarroel, Arturo Sanhueza, Gonzalo Fierro, José Luis Jerez, Rodrigo Millar - Juan Lorca y Humberto Suazo.
DT: Claudio Borghi.

Re: South America 25-27 Apr
how about Toluca Vs Cienciano game? Cienciano doing very well in the Peru championsip, being 3rd of 12 at the moment with 6-4-3, won last week 3-2 Bolognesi Tacna away. On the other hand, Toluca really struggling at the moment in the mexican league, being 16th of 18 with 2-10(!)-4. Last week Toluca went 0-0 with Cruz Azul and they lost 0-2 at home by the leaders Pashuca 2 weeks ago. In my opinion the value is on the away side.Odds like 9.00 and 10.00 for Cienciano win looks crazy to me. I already lay Toluca at 1.50 in betfair for more security.GL to your bets
