Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

Allemannia Aachen : Dynamo Dresden
I spoke with a business partner this morning,he comes from Aachen and said that the sun is shinning in west-germany. Only 5° celsius but the sun is shinning. The court is good to play i think.

Aachen and Dresden received only in one of the last 5 rounds a goal ... not typical for Aachen. They have a strong offense but the defense with Zichone and friends aren´t the best in the second league. Aachen has much power at home.I saw a few matches in german TV, the monday clashes. And Aachen at home is a 1st league team!Dresden won only 1 of the last 9 away rounds.I heard an interview earlier this day, where the coach of Dresden said, that they want to get on point - that´ll be a great sucess versus Aachen away!

Dresden miss an important player - Kai Oswald. Also injury are Oppitz,Csik and Kennedy. Aachen miss Rauw and Hesse, no very important players.

The last two meetings end both in over 2.5 goals. This season 3:1 victory for Aachen in Dresden and last season 5:1 in Aachen.

my punt:
Aachen win.
over 2.5 goals

Re: German Football 14-20 March 2006

fficeffice" />

Hi folks

New round in ffice:smarttags" />Germany have some nice pairings and hope profitable as well

Lets start

Nuernberg-Werder

Nuernberg is flying high at the moment, actually since Coach Meyer arrived and turned all up side down. Atmosphere in club and around is excellent. New heavy sponsor was announced and gave 10 000 free tickets for fans and booked 10 buses for remaining away games, all for free. So we can expect hot supporting for the home side. They are 3 points clear from relegation and points are needed badly.

Werder is better side on each position than Nuernberg, but in some kind of crises. Second part of the season they made only 9 goals out of 9 games (4 of them were against Mainz). There are two more problems Werder is facing: first, goalkeeper Reinke (who was bad injured in Stuttgart game) is replaced with crazy Wiese, who is to unsure and was very bad and unsure last game against Herta. And second, best player and playmaker Micoud is injured and won’t be able to play. That’s huge, huge blow for them. I saw Werder without Klose, Klasnic and many others and they were always dangerous, but without Micoud, I can’t recall that they performed well. Many experts in Germany believe that Borowski can step up and play his role, but I really doubt it. Werder should be still better side and I was about to cover them this week, but now with all those Nuernbergs good and werdersbad news, don’t know any more.

Maybe some small stakes as odds are OK.

Frankfurt-Duisburg

On paper Frankfurt is team with worst form in Germany, but that is not real picture, because they played teams like Hamburg, Bayern and Schalke, in one packet. At the beginning of the season they had, if I can well recall 4 or 5 points out of first 7 and than started to play against beatable teams for their level and than progressed on the table. They play nice football and imo much better than Duisburg.

Duisburg was my main relegation candidate after I saw them in beginning of the season and they remain that still. They were shortly boosted with Coach Kohler, few games, but as he as coach has nothing to offer, they are again terrible as they were most of the season. They will try some new rotation and maybe take some changes but they are doing that all season long.

So for me Frankfurt win.

Wolfsburg-Hamburg

Wolfsburg is for this game again without Klimowitz, and that means no power in front at all. Last game again Bayern they didn’t came close to the Bayern goal whole game and it was just Bayerns inability to score. Wolfsburg is further more performing bad, and there are new decisions from Coach which are bringing unrest in wolsb. Lines, where old Capitan Tiam is released from duty and new captain is announced (Hofland).

Hamburg is hot again and they should have fully fit squad to choose from. They said goodbye to Uefa-cup, but with nice game and win from 3-1. They look powerful and strong again.

So there is nothing to keep me of covering Hamburg in this one.

Hannover-Koeln

Hannover lost a lot of their power lately and those motivation factor is over, but still they have quality team and quality coach. As far I am informed there are no important missing for them.

Koeln is struggling, playing badly in defence only with front line being able to make something. They were a bit unlucky last game against Nuernberg as imo they deserved a draw. But for this game they are without their two important frontman Podolski and Streller. Also some changes are announced in defence line, but not looking promising.

I will go small stakes on Hannover win as they build a bit up, so I am not sure how to rate them and this bet is more against Koeln then on Hannover.

Dortmund-Klautern

Dortmund is out of form and it seems that they will again have to play without their playmaker Rosidsky. Motivation is not too high as well.

Klautern is playing good lately and look like team again. New coach wolf have made good job there and odds on them to win at 5,00 are way too high.

I think that Dortmund will have big problems in this game as Klautern is also fighting for their lives and will put small stakes on guests covered with draw.

Leverkusen-Mainz

Leverkusen is clear better team here, but they have motivation problem which is diff. from game to game.

Mainz has no quality but biggest fighting spirit in German football.

So for me no bet.

Mgladbach-Stuttgart

Two equal teams where I really cant make even small diff between them.

Could go either way, but most probably big low scoring draw.

At the end no bet for me.
