Kelso Horse Racing Tips 6th May 08

May 6, 2008

Donald Keys chuckles at the thought of being paid to write these tipsMorning, lads and ladettes. Did you know that Kelso was Britain’s friendliest horse racing course in the north of England? Well I did. Just one of the many things that makes me slightly better than you. As my old gran used to always say about Kelso, “ Left handed. National Hunt. Undulating fairly tight course with a long run in.” and then we’d settle down to a bowl of her lentil soup. Smashing days.

Speaking of smashing days…. it’s Tuesday. One of the things that makes Tuesday so special is that it isn’t Monday. If you saw the Chepstow intro then you’ll know that Tuesdays to me are all about pots of gold. Let’s crack on. We have a long day ahead of us. A long, smashing, rainbow filled day.

2.20 Bene Lad looks in with a chance @ 5.00’s and I think that’s where my money will be. Richard McGrath riding. Not sure that’ll help as I remember him being a big, fat c***t on, ‘They Think It’s All Over’. We’ll see.

2.50 Flight Leader @ 1.56 and by now you know I aint going near that. I don’t care if it’s running with a rocket up it’s arse. I’ll take Palmers Peak @ 6.8 - just follow the rainbow little horsey.

3.20 Beau Largesse looks an interesting prospect @ 9.4 - not really convinced it’s the winner here thoughbut a place isn’t out of the question. Pay On also a decent e/w shout says Donald Keys and his hunch. Currently 11.00’s @ betfair to win.

3.50 Norminster is sitting @ 9.6 on betfair and I think can put up a good show along with True Temper @ 9/1 with betfred and bluesq. True Temper’s tail goes well swishy at Kelso. Swishy tails, important factor. Take note.

4.20 Harlov has enough positives to suggest it can find a place and I see betfred have this lovely @ 11/1. And Shulmin looks to me to be capable of nicking this @ 7/1 with both ladbrokes and betfred. Always betfred.

4.50 Time to take a chance, take a take a chance. I did this one with tarot cards: Mitchel Henry e/w - this bugger is currently @ 26.00 betfair - nothing going for it other than my faith.

5.20 Inch High - things like, ooh, the ground and that, probably won’t be in it’s favour today to make the win particularly likely but I demand a place. I simply demand it. This beast is @ 8/1 with bet365.

£100 in free bets at Betfred
£100 free bets from Bet365

I love them both. Betfred really need to work on their site though. I find those menus really fiddly and annoying. Bet365 on the other hand are just about perfect. Navigation could be improved mind. I’ll e-mail Tom. He’s in charge of navigation.

OMG I take it back, Donald. How could I ever have doubted you!? Palmers Peak saw off that shorts odds fav to win. It really is a day of rainbows and pots of gold.

OMG!!! More rainbows!!! Pay On wins the 3.20 and Beau Largesse 2nd!!. I used to think you were just a made up person who didn’t know anything but now I’m not so sure. Heal me?

You’re rubbish, Keys! Rubbish! Norminster and True Temper FAILED. Your rainbows are all washed out.

I assume you were taking the pee with Mitchel Henry yes? Let’s hope you can make up for that shocker in the last although Inch High is currently 13.5 @ betfair you ass. And don’t think even it wins I’ll be tuning in tomorrow. Your less than 100% strike rate is, quite frankly, appalling.

Thanks for wasting my time, Keys. You make. You make me. Puke.
