Flat course undulates with slight downhill into the straight. Low numbers favoured up to 1 mile. National Hunt course is undulating.

Man. Still makes me chuckle. But no time to even blink now as per the Notthingam stuff I start talking and it’s nightfall before I know it. 2.10 High n’ Dry has caught my hunch a little - currently @ 12.00 betfair and 13/2 bet365 - certainly capable of placing. Doubt the win is within reach but you never know.

2.40 Very uninteresting this one but I suppose I’ll go with Sonhador to win @ 10/3 with betfred and the tastyish looking True Britannia e/w 14/1 @ sportingbet - don’t laugh till the fat lady sings. Then you may go right ahead.

3.10 Harry Up is in with a good chance of a place according to my gunch - he’s @ 15/2 with bluesq and currently @ 9.8 on betfair. And I love the name Harry. Don’t know why but it makes me feel at home.

3.45 This looks a pile of….. 18 runners. I’ll gamble with a couple here. Expresso Star 38.00 @ betfair and 28/1 with sportingbet - the Racing Post will tell you the stable is on fire which is great until it’s literal. Penchesco @ 80.00’s betfair - blimey. 25/1 @ ladbrokes for that beast. Lets gamble on it placing. And finally…. tight one but I’ll go with the completely random Wise Hawk @ 33/1 betfred and 60.00’s @ betfair. Quality! Somewhere. Just not here.

4.20 Desiderio @ 14/1 with ladbrokes and 18.00’s @ betfair - place potential. That’s my new catchphrase. True though. Maybe. I’d chance Southwest Star too @ 11/1 with laddies and 15.00’s @ betfair. Just move the legs very fast till the finish and hope.

4.55 The joy of reaching the finish line. I can appreciate what it is to be a horse. That sounds a bit rude. Unintentional. Uig will do for me for various reasons that you don’t want or need to know. 8/1 @ bet365 paddy power and all the rest and 9.4 @ betfair. And Lizzie Wiggins in with a chance of nabbing the win @ 9/2 with sportinbet.

I’m expecting nothing today and when nothing duly materialises (or doesn’t, as it were) - it wasn’t me. Was my mate, Steve. Don’t forget your Keys! Or Steve, when it all goes wrong. Bye. I’m f****ed. I hope you are too.

    Oh look. He finally missed one. 6 in a row is one thing Keys but 7 in a row…. your less than 100% strike rate again shocks and horrifies me.
