Every match here has cleared two tests, not one: our model rates the outcome likely, and it rates it more likely than the bookmakers are pricing it. Most lists of this kind only apply the first test, which is why they fill up with 1.06 favourites that win nine times in ten and still lose you money over a season. We do not publish those. If a favourite is short because it deserves to be short, there is nothing here for you and it will not appear.

About the Word "Sure"

There is no such thing. That is the honest answer, and every site telling you otherwise is either guessing or selling something. What we can tell you is what these prices actually mean, because most people badly misread them. A pick at 1.70 comes in a little under three times in five. One at 1.40 loses roughly one time in three. That is not a flaw in the selection, it is what those odds are for. If these won as often as the word "sure" implies, the price would be 1.05 and there would be no reason to bet them.

The misreading gets expensive when you stack them, and almost nobody backs these one at a time. Five picks from this page feel close to a lock together. In reality they all land about one time in eight. Certainty does not add up as you add legs, it multiplies down, and it falls off a cliff somewhere around the fourth. Runs are part of it too. Back thirty of these across a month and hitting three straight losers somewhere in there is closer to normal than unusual. It is not the model failing. It is what these odds look like from the inside, and it is the point at which most people quit a method that was working.

One Thing Worth Checking

Whether the match is a second leg. Cup ties and European qualifiers run over two games, and a side already 3-0 up has no reason to win the return. They rest players, manage it out, and go through either way. A model reading form and goals cannot see a manager who has already qualified, so check how the first leg finished before you back anything in a two-legged tie. It is the single most useful thing you can do with two minutes.
